Totally Disillusioned with World Cups

to be staged in Russia and Qatar.

Notwithstanding the fact that England are again not good enough to seriously compete for winning the World Cup, I simply can't embrace a major sports event held in countries such as Russia and Qatar.

Football really has no moral compass and it is a great pity.

ps Nothing to do with our own failed bid, we were just as guilty of bribes as the next man, but these two countries respective records for state led corruption, anti democratic governance, racism, anti gay culture and abuse of human rights tarnish the staging of what was once the greatest major sports event in the world.

I know Mr C.

I was chatting with a group of parents the other day during our kids football training and there was diverse views on the topic which is why i thought i would post my feelings on here to see other's views.

I am not surprised by the diversity of opinions, but i am surprised by the hostility of some that have opposing views.

But who really pull the strings of FIFA? Well of course it is the corporate sponsors.

If we are going to get into the corruption of FIFA then thats a whole other article

They appeared to care more about Dele Alli giving the finger than they do Qatari lives or fan racism.
