So apparently the Record are reporting that Alan Stubbs has turned down the opportunity to be the next Dundee United manager.
Fair enough. I said that I'd prefer him over Hughes and McIntyre but I was never excited by his potential appointment. I can understand why people don't want to take the United job to be honest - we're a basket case of a club at the moment - but I'm not sure people are breaking down Stubbs' door to give him a job.
So we move on. I still hope it's not Hughes or McIntyre and I'm now throwing my weight behind Csaba Laszlo. Apparently he's flew out of the country so he probably isn't getting it, but I live in hope because nobody else in any way excites me.

What is with this recent trend of calling kids stupid names? What's wrong with a nice simple David or Kevin? Need to take a leaf out of Iceland's book in my opinion.
I've warmed to Laszlo. Certainly better than Hughes and am losing no sleep at the lack of Stubbs. He's absolutely mental, which is a big bonus.

Me thinks it was one parent over-ruling the other. No way two people could possibly think that's a good idea.
Then again, my dad did want to name me after Dan Aykroyd. And he didn't want to call me Dan - I was supposed to be Aykroyd.
