Stubbs Says No

i think hughes would be better than stubbs tbh, i don't get why people are so big on him.

Hughes is now tainted with Raith getting relegated.

I think the problem with Hughes - and probably Stubbs - would be that they'd want to radically change the style of play at United and that would take time. We'd probably have a good team next year but that's no use for us this year. We need someone who can get us up this year.

This appointment has to be a short term appointment in many ways, which I'm willing to accept.

The Csaba appointment may still happen - apparently he returned to Budapest for tv work and should be returning.

thats an odd one tbh, i think you probably need someone more local.

jackie mac could get u up btw

Wheesht.

Laszlo is a left-field appointment but he does have a background in the Scottish game and he's been successful. Apparently he's a very well organised coach who drills his teams well - something we need.

Sadly I don't think Dundee Utd will get up this season.

Hamilton down and Dundee Utd up would be perfect.

There is a young manger in the Irish League performing miracles and his very youthful Coleraine team is running away with the League this season.

Oran Kearney is the name.
Worth a punt - 100%

Earl

I wonder if he's been considered - I would expect so, particularly given how well Northern Ireland managers are doing at the moment.

Had to check-he’s 70 in January! Still remember being behind the goal when Davie Provan bent the free kick round him at the Scottish cup final in 85, before McGarvey somehow got the ball in the net from that header.

Take him where? It's cold outside and I've not got a jacket with me.

Apparently the odds for Yogi have been slashed. Really can’t imagine that that would be anything other than a dreadful appointment.

United had a 14 year old play for the u20s last night.

This seems extraordinary, but wait, there's more.

His name is Mackenzie Lemon.

No, that's his real name.

Who the feck names a kid McKenzie?
What is with this recent trend of calling kids stupid names? What's wrong with a nice simple David or Kevin? Need to take a leaf out of Iceland's book in my opinion.

I've warmed to Laszlo. Certainly better than Hughes and am losing no sleep at the lack of Stubbs. He's absolutely mental, which is a big bonus.

Eh....Mr and Mrs Lemon ?

Me thinks it was one parent over-ruling the other. No way two people could possibly think that's a good idea.

Then again, my dad did want to name me after Dan Aykroyd. And he didn't want to call me Dan - I was supposed to be Aykroyd.

If your surname was Lemon wouldn’t you just call your son Jeff?
