On the back of yet another Jonty rant. I do not see or hear many saying he should be sacked. What I read is that in this climate & what has gone on before, people are wondering whether he will be sacked.
Myself, I want him to stay, we need stability. And until it is not possible, we are NOT going to finish higher than last season, see no reason to remove him from his post.
So lets see who wants what.......vote 5 for TC to stay or 1 for him to go & give your reason?
The Manager / Coach.

Lubo my reason for wanting him gone is based on competence in the job, based on the last few games. To quote Mark Twain "the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior or past performance in a similar situation".
Isn't seven losses out of nine games enough of an indication that Christiansen is not positively impacting on what happens on the pitch?
Your argument that I cannot possibly see into the future would be an argument for not changing anything.
Of course I have no way of knowing what will happen tomorrow or the next few games but the evidence points to a regime that isn't working.
Don't defend the indefensible.
I have consistently said that I was concerned that Christiansen may not be up to the job and AR might be too concerned about trying to prove that he is not Cellino to sack him.
I see nothing from recent games/ performances to prove me wrong.
AR needs to prove when tough decisions need to be made that he is the man to do so.

Based on current form, and I know this cannot possibly be accurate, over the next six games we would fall a further 8 places. Below Middlesbrough, Norwich, Ipswich, QPR, Forest, Wednesday, Brentford and Fulham.
Interestingly the team that is currently in the best form of that group are Brentford.
A tin pot team?

The club needs stability and long term thinking.
Besides, I doubt many, if any, of these players are "his".
I'd like to see him being given the January window to strengthen the squad

Cracks me up when fans decide whether a manager is competent off the back of some good or bad results.
Is Alan Pardew competent? He has overseen some brilliant runs with some clubs followed by some absolute disasters with the same players. Done a great job at some places and failed at others. Fergie was a game from the sack at s**m ( what a tragedy that result was)
It’s a snapshot in time.
Everyone decided hockaday was incompetent because we’d never heard of him... but he was given an impossible job, and speak to some of the players and they’ll say he was a decent coach.
What we get as fans is a 90 minute window to judge a man on the performance of 11 others.
With TC we don’t even know what control he has over selection, and we know he has none over transfers.
How the f**k would anyone other than experienced players and coaching staff have a clue whether he’s up to it or not. He inherited a side in relegation form that then lost its best players.
Do some of his selections and subs raise my eyebrows? Yep, but It’s too early to say on him..., the measure of the man will be whether he can turn this slump around.

Oops!!!!!!!!
Some may have forgotten that.
The same who cry now for GM?

... it was careless losing those players johnny. Apparently TC has been looking down the back of the sofa for Bartley, Wood and taylor but can’t find them anywhere

Careless. milkyboy?
How so?
Bartley went back to play Prem football with a very high valuation on his head. Would you have paid 5-6 million for him?
Wood was sold for many millions, would you have turned them down? Would you have denied a player the chance to play in the Prem?
Taylor was gone before Rad took over, too much water under the bridge and 6 million for him. Would you have turned down 6 million for him?

It was a joke johnny... an old and not very funny play on ‘lost/losing’ in response to you ‘oops’ comment... but an attempt at humour nonetheless.

To quote Mark Twain "the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior or past performance in a similar situation".
And his past performance is that he has us 7th out of a league of 24, after 14 games. Not too bad, I'd say. Of course, there's room for improvement, but he has only just arrived at the club.
And don't give me bull about the most 'recent' performance. Twain didn't say that. If you're going to quote people to back up an argument, you have to accept when your quote might imply something different.
Give him time.

I will always support Emma's puppies, especially when she is spot on with her thinking too. Is there a shred of evidence to suggest TC understands the problem, has the players on board with him, and can motivate them to fight for 90 minutes? No. All we get is whinging about referees, bad luck in games, and pointless analysis about what went wrong. I would like to hear our players stand up and say, 'we are phuching it up right now, but we are going to give it 110% to get it right, on and off the pitch.'
It is arguable that this run of form is a result of too many players getting long contracts. Perhaps complacency has set in. I just can't see TC turning it around, can you?
