Is Youngy bringing the Fans down?

Youngy calls it as he sees it on Radio grandad with Stringy fact.

But i find out in the desert listening him both in the commentary but espacially afterwoods in the moan-ins very downbeat nad negative.

Summarising is a difficult balance but i find him to downbeat this season about the qualities or not and the work rate of players this is seen by some supporters as the gospel truth rather than an opinion. leading to increasiving the negative mood IMO.

Players all have Faults Alan's was he wanted to fight every centre half he meets it the 80's instead of concentrating on getting more goals to turn him from a good striker to a great striker.

Please dont confuse my comments from my pleasure in him finding a home on the airwaves back with us But he ImO needs to lighten up and get his humour going again.

I like them both, they both have their faults - Youngy has a bias towards certain players (and in some cases against) but I think as you say Nev he does say it like he sees it. I think he's usually quite balanced with his positivity and negativity, but tbf I haven't heard any match commentary from him this season, only pre/post match thoughts.

Stringer can want to talk more about things that aren't the football match, and he does have a tendency to say 'it's in!' when it's not. But he is entertaining and commentates with passion, he's got a good voice and demeanor for Leicester matches.

I don't know what they've been saying during matches this season but if they are somewhat negative it's probably down to their frustration at what have been far from convincing performances overall - though after the Forest match, when we did play well, they were both very quick to point out that we were robbed and that the performance was good, instead of concentrating on the fact we surrendered a 2-0 lead.

They have a duty to say it like it is and if they did anything otherwise I woudn't want them on. If they are negative at the moment because they are honest then so be it.

Good debate

I can see both sides. But there for me needs to be a balance between stringies rampant enthusiasm and his shoting from the hip comments.

I enjoyed Youngy last year.

I did not like his comments about the Egyptian keeper and find his deriding of players this season has stoked the fuel of negativity.
Our results over the last four games in all comp's has been more than exceptable.

For me the fans attitude to Sven is unreal IMO. I think Sven is most honest and up front with the press and fans than ANY manager we have EVER had but the enlightened fans want to him to come on air admit his mistakes.......Good luck with that.Try that on another dour Scotsman sir Alex!!!! and see what you get.

Just a thought how many former england managers have we manage to attract to the massive club which is Leicester?
