Mountain to climb

Leeds have a mountain to climb - all the top teams have won, we're 15 points behind Wolves, what a depressing season already. Players and coach to blame for this ridiculous spell. Boro will be the test.

I think we can forget top two. If we can somehow win tomorrow then in touch with the playoffs is acceptable.

If we lose tomorrow, Mid table at best and then crowds will return to average and another season getting further and further behind teams like Bournemouth, Burnley and Watford.

Teams like who exactly. It’s not 1970. Read this all the time about my team. You are where you deserve to be.

Weren’t people saying no standout teams in this division?

Furthermore people were saying we had won the league in early sept...

No disrespect intended it's just frustrating that clubs with smaller fan bases are streets ahead of Leeds United because they have been run with common sense.

A city as wealthy as Leeds, economicly whether you accept it or not should at least have a club challenging to be in the premiership.

We are not saying we are better we are just observing that the longer we flounder outside the premiership the harder it gets to attract good players and young local talent is snapped up by the premiership teams who can offer silly money.
We are where we are because of incompetence on a breathtaking level 15 or so years ago and I can assure all non Leeds fans we do not have delusions of grandiour
We just crave a tiny bit of success in the form of getting promoted to The Premier League.

Sorry Snapski but he was talking about teams like Watford, Burnley and Huddersfield, Barnsley were not mentioned. These are teams that unlike Leeds have been managed well, reflected by the fact that they are Premier league teams.
The fact that Leeds, a one team city and the third biggest city in England (London, Birmingham then Leeds) does not have a Prem outfit is a shocking indictment on how badly we have been administered over the years.
We are where we are, whether we should be is another question.
Barnsley just doesn't compare.

Top six was the target. We are not out of touch yet. Even six points is no big deal in November.

The big worr6 is that losing, like winning, becomes the norm. We have to pick up a win - any way anywhere.

Stoopo yup 6th is the minimum agreed but it is not looking to good atm we must start to at least stop leaking goals.

Careful Lobo - you'll have people saying you're negative, that the manager's going to come good, that the team are just finding their feet, that you're being disloyal... No criticism of Leeds allowed in the minds of some. The same people who said that failing to finish in the top six last season was fine because we were just consolidating, in readiness for the big push this season. Just saying!

Why did I call you Lobo, Ellando? Who knows?
