This has got to be the worst ever Prem league ever hasn't it?
I mean Jesus take out the 'big 6' and what are you left with? Burnley/Watford/Everton!
IF we go up and uncle Mendes chucks us some beaut signings (2XCB, 1XRB, 2XCM AND 2XCF ) Then do we have anything to fear from your Swansea's your Southampton's your Newcastle's ??? I really can't remember the Prem being this poor, ever! ...............Europe in 3 #passports
Worst ever?

You largely have a squad that has never competed in the premier league, what makes you think you’re above the mid table teams in the prem so much? Being top of the championship is noting to go by, pretty sure QPR were once suppose to break the top 6.

I don't think any of us really think we will be an immediate force but i do think most of us have little fear of two thirds of the sides up there.

Understood, also I wasn’t haven’t a pop at all. It’s just I bet a lot of fans whose team are coasting the championship think the can beat half the teams in the Prem.

I think the standard of the top four teams went through a trough in the last 5 years or so. I don't think the standard of the rest of the league has declined though.
The amount of money teams are spending now usually means you are one or two bad signings away from being in the relegation spots with a massive wage bill by Championship standards should you be relegated. We've seen it with Wolves, we saw it with Villa and we are seeing it with Sunderland now.

Ave to agree, as usual money is to blame. So easy to predict the top six, the safe in the middle and "perm three from six that will struggle".

Can’t argue with the decline of the big hitters it seems! However, I still think the overall standard of the premier league is vastly superior to the championship. We still lose/draw to teams that would be total chicken feed to the lowest prem club. I do think we will do okay should we get there but only because we will spend sheite loads.

Western Bromwich - £60m on players in 18 months and a £50m wage bill.
They won't survive in the Championship next season.

The big difference between the divisions is that when you get promoted the hardest games in the division you leave behind become the average game the following season. Playing good teams Ten times a season becomes 40 times a season. So the scrappy performances that have earned Wolves 7 points in the last three games would almost certainly have earned them nothing in the premier league

United were poor today, and did just enough to ensure they won. #prayforalbion
