He's a great player in a 4 at the back formation. He lost his place this season beacuse the team plays in a 3-5-2 now. He still has his quality and was very good when he won the championship with Club Brugge. He'll do well in England I think, the style of play should suit him.

His best attributes are in defending, he's strong and has a good tackle. He's not the fastest player like Alba, but he really isn't slow either. He'll go forward to attack when needed and hell put a couple of assists on the board each season.
some dudes assessment - played in europa and CL

He'll be an improvement on the side it seems.

On paper seems like he's a good signing who's been a regular in a half decent side....its another wait and see job though as I know nothing about him!
At least we've recognised we need a proper LB though, so that's something

Like the more attacking types, but they cost. Hopefully he's quality, because we really need it at LB.

“Leeds United have agreed personal terms with Club Brugge left-back Laurens De Bock, according to Belgian outlet HLN.
The report outlines that the clubs have yet to agree a fee but after talks between the player’s representatives and the club last week, Leeds feel confident they can get the player to shun interest from Italy and join their promotion bid.
Brugge paid three million euros for the defender back in 2013 but the report indicates that they would be willing to sell for a lower fee than that now.
De Bock has played in the qualifying rounds of both the Champions League and the Europa League this season but has only made six league appearances for the Belgian club so far.”
Sounds good, without having seen him, mind.

If he is a leftback I’m happy enough, needs to get in the team ASAP and get some game time in, adapting to a new league, let alone a new country is never easy which is why in January players often find it more difficult to settle as they don’t have pre season games and summer training to get up to speed
