More natural left back signed subject to the clubs agreeing a fee.
It’s nice to be sorting a small issue - the big problem is midfield. That needs sorting pronto.

Same was said about Bradley Johnson. Then he went and played in the Prem. And did alright. Agree with Jonny, if you play in the Prem, you're obviously good enough.
Where you rank in the list of current players playing in the Prem is a different gauge of ability altogether.

There are poorer players than Berardi in the premier league. He'd be fine up there although I'm not sure the little dainty strikers will like him much.
Swansea can **** off if they think they're getting him

Thanks Batty, so many examples. Congrats on your move to the US, now you get to be on a similar time frame as me! 👍🏻
You tell them Shaun!

As for Berra being good enough for the Premier League, we have seen him in his less-favoured left back role. If Swansea play him on the right, I think we could see a different Berra. The man is 100% commitment and while he deserves a shot at the Premier League, it should be with us. It would be madness to let him go.
Interesting that we didn't see Pedraza as a left back, we expect Lasogga to hold the ball, Anita to play at left back, and we don't play Berra on the right. Which of our players are actually playing in their preferred roles?

Would you take a Berardi/ Bartley swap deal?

No, we have three centrebacks and have signed that finish lad too, and when we signed him the aim was to for him to join the under 23s and then work on getting him in the first team squad fairly sharpish.
Berardi is currently our first choice left and rightback due to lack of players and an injury.
It would be totally insane to allow him to leave

Me, personally no. Much prefer Berra. Berra is Leeds.
Bartley as great as he was for us, felt he needed to stay with his parent club to take his opportunity there. I have no problem with that. But Leeds is Berra's parent club.
He gets us. He wants to fight for us.
Berra over Bartley 10 times out of 10.
Cheers Jonny. Bit of an adjustment. But thanks to
NBCSN and BEIN/Fox I'm able (like you) to stay
on top of everything football. Plus, my family is far
happier back together.

I like Berra, he’s a trier, nice lad, if bit of a hothead on the pitch. Useful squad player but hand on my heart we need a left footed left back and preferably a better footballing (like ayling) right back. Ayling has had some stick and hasn’t been at his best but he’s obviously being encouraged to get forward. If he does that and sides attack down his side on the counter it’s the guy covering for him at fault not ayling.
Bartley for berardi? Hell yeh, sorry to those who’s man love is offended by that!

Happy family is the most important, of course. The football coverage on tv here is amazing, especially the Prem games. Much easier to be a fan here brow than say 15 years ago or so.
Every team needs a hard guy on the pitch. Berardi is our top guy for that role in this squad with Pontus a close second.
