Shafted Again In the Transfer market

Seems like Sanchez and Mkhitaryan will just be a straight swap with no extra cash involved. What happened to the £15m we were supposed to be getting?
Once again we have got a craaap deal . Levy at Spurs always gets top dollar for his players while we "give" ours away. Gazidis has got to be the worst CEO of any major company bar Carillion. WTF does he do for his money?

I can see the Aubameyang deal NOT happening as well as we refuse to pay an extra £1m or 2m to make the deal happen.

I despise the management team of this club from Kroenke to Wenger. They are all totally incompetent. I wouldn't trust them to drive my kids to school.

Sure. And I have as much chance of you being right as winning the lottery.

Mourinho's already won the lottery taking over such a gullible fanbase.

Whatever makes you feel better. If you think just a change of manager is going to change anything, you'll be sorely mistaken. Your team need practically a whole new set of defense and midfield. And we're gullible. Don't worry mate, it's all Wengers fault. No one else but Wenger. Once he's gone, players like Holding and Xhaka will be world class. It's Wenger holding them all back.

United more capable of winning the league sooner than Arsenal currently are. Just because City are running away with it this season doesn't mean they will win it next.

They wont win the league as long as pep is there

That could well happen. But to say it is a certainty makes one a fool.

A manager does make a difference. A huge difference. Where did Mourinho finish the season Renieri took over Leicester City? Or what did Conte do to team that finished mid-table with Mourinho as manager?

Actually its very very difficult to repeat in this country. To count out an Arsenal resurgence with another manager is as naive as our Man Utd fan.

Yes, manager makes a huge difference. But Pep didn't win the league in his first season despite taking over a very good side that won the league not long ago. He saw he needed players and his club went and spent a shed load in fixing their problems. So if you think just a manager will change you into a title winning side, you need wake up. The quality of players tends to help a lot. And then there is a thing such as luck and momentum. The last two league winners and the current league leaders have built that up in the seasons they won/are winning the league. Arsenal would need a hell of a lot of luck and momentum to do that. It would be like another Leicester, just not as epic.

Anyway, it's good to dream as football fans so is shouldn't really be shattering yours with a dose of reality. And I do have my own need to head to dreamland, so good night.

Who is suggesting that Arsenal won't buy? Its not like Arsenal don't have money. Gazidis has said numerous times that Arsenal can buy whoever they want. Its Wenger who doesn't because it keeps him comfortable. Frankly latest reports suggest Arsenal have the second highest spending power in the world behind City.

At least most of the Arsenal fanbase know what is holding the club back at this point. Man Utd fans seem to be so wedded to Mourinho that they can't see the wood from the trees. Mourinho spending has been just as crazy if not greater than City when you also include huge wages. But he is only 3 points ahead of the chasing back and a full 12 points Man City.

This is why Arsenal are actually further ahead than you think. Leicester City exploded the myth of spending and Mourinho.

City have spent more than United. The most if you include the last four season. United fans aren't entirely happy with Jose, but you guys wouldn't seem to know that.

And your club has more problems than just Wenger. If you think he's the only problem, then you are naive. You need to spend a lot. Probably to become title challengers again, you'd have to outspend not only United, but City as well. You have to also start paying players more.

Look at Ozil. He's not signed a contract. United, Barca, PSG are sniffing around. They could easily give him more than Arsenal if they want him.

And Leicester were a one off. They happen. They are an anomaly rather than the norm. If they exploded the myth of spending and Mourinho, then they didn't do a good job. Pep had to spend. He's spent 50-60m on FB each. If anything, he's shown that with money spent well, you can buy yourself to the top. If Mourinho is a money Manager, so is Pep and Arsenal are not going to win the league by just replacing the Manager and not spending like City and United. Even Klopp has had to go back on his own words and start spending silly amounts.

And this is why you are deluded in thinking you are further ahead than you think. If Wenger was the only issue, contracts, transfer negotiations, etc wouldn't be an issue.
