Defence is a shambles, keeper way past his best, but same old arsenal, we strengthen in places way too late. We needed a good keeper for 4/5 years before we brought in cech, we needed a WC striker for years before we bought Laca, we will strengthen up front and the in about 2-3 years we may start strengthening our defence

That went well with a goalkeeper and a striker.

I wonder how Arsenal can get a striker like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in. Its amazing for Arsenal but question is will he flop like other strikers from other leagues coming to premier league have done. It will be interesting if he gets to 10 goals for Arsenal this season.

latest rumour is that we are looking at Manolas from AS Roma, whats with them selling everyone these days.

They've only actually sold Emerson so far. Nainggolan hasn't gone through yet afaik.

Funny this only ever seems to be said about players who are signed from foreign leagues.

Plenty of strikers flop after moving from one PL club to another.

Aubameyang shouldn't play on the wing, he should start up front - If necessary with Lacazette as a sub

Our wine options are awful but the good thing is neither Auba or Laca rely heavily on crosses

One of our best sides (post being good ) was the one that basically had no wide players, just Hleb Fabregas Rosicky Flamini

*Obviously we're also lacking quality in CM but it's better than playing utter aids like Iwobi and Welbeck on the wings

Lacazette can play on the wing, that's the position he originally played to break into Lyon's starting team.

He later played as second striker to Gomis.

So I don't really get why Aubameyang should necessarily be confined to the wing, nor that Arsenal have to play a rigid formaation.

If anything, the arrivals of Auba and Mkhi give them room to play a variety of formations all of which could be lightning fast.

If Wenger gets this right, all he'll have left to worry about is the back six.

I say other strikers from other leagues as Depay and Falcao were 2 of the worst strikers I have seen at Man Utd but on youtube they looked great and stats did before coming to Man Utd. It wasn't due to a lack of service either as they were dreadful. The goal Depay scored against PSG is the goals I thought he would score for us more often. I can only remember him scoring 1 goal slightly similar to that while he was with us.
