Just been listening to Talksport & Goughy, who is a Barnsley lad, said they have done us over. We approached them, board told PH, he says he would like to go, they then ask him to sign a new contract with a get out clause & he can go as it helps the club. We then are told we have to pay to have him as he has just signed a new contract yadda yadda. So they are happy for him to go but make a wedge in the bargain.
The little monkey, winding everyone up or is he ?

Ahhhhhh Darren Gough, the Barnsley and Tottenham supporting clown who has a season ticket at MK Dons.
He shouldn't be allowed to discuss football on the radio.

Very very odd to me, sign a new contract then walk away

The new contract had been in place for weeks, I believe. Was just only announced last week.

In that case, if true of course, he was probably edging his bets.......and why not? There is no loyalty in football these days.... other than to money.

If he was tapped up, would there not be a charge on the way?..
Or is it allowed these days?..
