Venue : John Smiths Stadium
Kick off : 12.00pm
Welcome to the 606 thread for Town v Bournemouth..
Firstly if Wagbo says little Huddersfield shouldn't be competing with Bournemouth then i'll eat my hat.
Huge game as they all are,
Pritchard has to play,
We need to be up and at em from the off... 12th man again, with possibly more Town fans there than all season,
Awful kick off time for all concerned, buses are picking up Bournemouth fans from 3.am !
Last 6 latest last ( League only )
Bournemouth W D W D W W
Town D L L L L L
Bournemouth have taken more league points than any other team since 30th December, and of course Town play them at the WRONG time..
However unlike the doom and gloom merchants .................... its Bournemouth, they can be got at, we can do it, we scored 4 in midweek, we need 4-5 wins.... this is a biggi...
Reverse fixture... 18/11/17 Bournemouth 4 town 0 and they had 10 men...
Last time in Udders... opening day 2014... Robbins last game .. again 0-4..
A back 3 is workable, but we need more attacking play, I'd have Ince back in, maybe VLP,will the 2 strikers play again ?
All will be revealed on Sunday.... at least we won't be moving anywhere in the league table before then...
Onwards and upwards....
UTT...

Annoying eh !
The way we've set up against various sides in that 'Dour' period...(()) Where by we were baffled as fans,
Then this mini revival looking more like the team that started the season so well.
Infuriating frustration.
We were averaging around 1.4pts per game back then,
that could have cost us close on a vital 5pts over that time period. And that's being realistic.
The parameters are fine enough without starting a game with the ......"We'll defend & you attack" mindset like we did v Chelsea & Liverpool at home.
Did we really give it a good go in both fixtures v Stoke?
No.
Burnley have had an horrific run of injuries and a poor batch of results that followed. And they are still well positioned in relative terms, And we took the game to them in both encounters.
It's not unrealistic to think we could have been in a similar or even better league standing than them right now,
No more 'little dog' shiite & pointless rotation that indicates a complete surrender in games deemed 'unwinnable'.
We finish strong now,
Or more finger pointing will be justified.

27 games 27 points.. 38 games 38 points... Or 1 or 2 more...

After....
9.. games = 12pts.
18 games = 21pts.
27 games = 27pts. (gained 6pts in 9 games)
11 to go, 11 needed..(for 38pts) It's going to be close.

Do Premier League teams really need 40 points to avoid relegation? - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43049564

Don't know about you Hydy,
But I'd guess that 36 might be enough.
38 'should be' ! And in my opinion should be the target haul.
If a couple of teams utterly collapse, for example Stoke & WBA for instance, Then Southampton, Palace & TOWN might be on a knife edge regardless of points already acquired & needing something from the last game to avoid that dreaded '18th' slot !
If as seems the general consensus on this (re-606)
IF !! TOWN can gain wins v WBA, Swansea & Palace
then we'd have to be super confident of being 'safe'....
Wouldn't we , ?

Saw that Hydy, a poor report to start with, it's got us in 18th place and yet that was 2 days AFTER the report was published... Poor BBC poor..
