I don't mind the current Fifa tbh.

Because it tries to keep all parties interested and keep them spending money on it, hence the amount of goals in a game and poor/lack of being able to defend. Reading passes for example are a thing of the past, no matter how early you read them your player will not cut them out. Also selecting a central midfielder is nigh on impossible.

There are a hundred reasons its shat, but the main one is to even the playing field for poorer players.

btw i'm only a part time player. Only played 40 games on ultimate team and got fed up of playing pele and ronaldo every game.

I originally bought PES this year and got fifa a few months back.
PES blows Fifa away game play wise , Fifa just feels like anyone could play it with no experience.
I did a full season on person the top level finished 10th just started again a new season again and it is quality.

I thought football now was trying to support the elite rather than even the playing field?

I meant with regards to not being able to defend or reading of passes.
