Can Beradi also play as the holding or defensive midfielder for the team?
Seems almost everyone in the chat group say he is tough player and not afraid to take on the opposition players.
Potentially, he could be our next Vinnie Jones..
From what I have been reading in our chat group, we certainly need a major improvement , a tough and no nonsense player in the role so why can’t it be Beradi...?
You folks agree,,?
Beradi as holding or defensive midfielder?.

Lose Jansson and you are left with Ayling (whom everyone was saying should be dropped), Cooper, Shaughnessy (Pennington goes back) de Bock and potentially Felix again.
All areas of side need addressing.

I must not have been the only person watching yesterday who after the second goal went in continuously thought here we go here comes an equaliser. Pontus and none of the rest of our makeshift defence fills me with any confidence.
Other defences in our league are not just cut through like a knife through butter. We were well on top at 2-0 but concede one goal and the whole team goes into panic mode, not good.

Meant their goal not second goal.

id never actually thought of it in those terms, it’s a good point
Wood was the best striker in the league last year
Can’t think of anyone I’d rather have at leftback than Taylor
Bartley was immense
Green would easily be at the top of anyone’s list of the best keepers from last year
Thing that gets me though thinking about it is that when you consider these players
Green shouldn’t have been allowed to leave
Wood still had a year on his contract
We spent millions on guff which would have been much better spent on Bartley
Only Taylor we 100% couldn’t have kept hold of.
Ergh.

throw in the fact we don't even have a decent manager and its easy to understand what happened this season.

Wood was lured by Prem and the wages. We couldn’t have kept him without risking him walking away at the end of this season.
Green I agree we should have kept.

Considering what we have wasted on bringing in players this year what difference has getting 16 million for him made?
Same with beckford, the goals he scored were worth more than any fee we could have got.
So what has he left, we could have kept him this season, and if we had, along with Green and Bartley then we would have been in a much better position and probably closer to the play offs.
Wood might as well have left for a free when you look at how badly we have wanted the money we got for him

Just as with Ross money, the owners have completely mismanaged it.
AR said it was going to be re invested in the side, it was supposed to be additional money, it’s been wasted on the likes of Cibicki.

Well said, getting a fee for players leaving is good - providing you spend it on players of equivalent or better quality. We don’t do that though. We take punts on unknown players (lots of em) in the hope some will come good.

Orta has blown most of our money and should be held accountable.
Saiz, Alioski and Forshaw are the only ones who I'd really want to keep. There is Roberts as well who could be a good signing but we have no idea yet.
