Early doors, POTY?

I agree that Jan Vertonghen has been rock solid for us season after season. And for Belgium too.
Without him at the back, Eriksen, Kane et all ain't going nowhere.
I vote Jan for any award going!

Likewise I wouldn’t mind if the award went to Eriksen or Kane. Think Jan just edges it though.. as it appears is the case for the many, not just the few

Wouldn't complain at all if Jan got it, been immense

However, the fact that Kane is 4th or 5th in most people's list is astounding. Spurs fans totally take him for granted, and the level of expectation for him is way higher than anyone else. He has only won one POTS for us despite scoring a stupid amount of goals

Hmm. You’re probably bang on with the higher expectations Analog. Didn’t realise he only had one POTS for us either. Ok. Stick him above Dembele in my list. Eriksen still pips him for me..just.

Nothing to do with what I'd rather, it's to do with how it is. What Kane is doing is freakishly good and he should be recognised for it

people do recognise it though. Just we have other just as important players. i suppose because of the standards he's set others will get more recognition for influence and improvement.

My only slight gripe with Kane this season, and I’ve stated it a few times, is that he’s scored a lot of goals in a few games.

Being ultra-picky, I’d like him to have scored in a few more games in addition to what he’s already done.
