Hate to say it GRC but I agree with you.
I spent most of last season battling against the hardnosed, who were recommending a change of admin. I wanted Millen to be given time to do the job, and I saw flashes of inspiration in some of his signings.
I insisted he should be given until Xmas. However, the sound bites coming from the Millen camp are not what we need to hear, and not what will drive this club forwards. It was the last straw today to hear him say that he was going to have to become the bad guy in training next week, and as somebody on here pointed out, what the hell has he been doing for the past 12 months ?
Fact is, this all smacks of complacency, comfort zones and mismanagement. He should have been reading the riot act from day 1, when we were outclassed by Ipswich.
So, that being the case, the sooner he goes the better so that the new man can have a longer run up and hopefully turn our a_r_s_e of a season into something remotely worth while.
Sorry Keith. You had your chance but it is now obvious that the hardnose brigade were right. You are not management material. Adios !
