Could be worse. The ref for the Uruguay Vs France tomorrow is Argentinian.

How come no English refs made it? I know they're hopeless a lot of the time but I don't get how refs from Africa and Asia made the cut or is it an anti English thing again like the VAR refs

England only submitted one ref for consideration.
He quit to go to Saudi Arabia. Therefore there were no english refs to choose from.
