Patriot has got to be one of the best tv series' i've seen (Amazon Prime) absolute genius writing and acting and i found it progressively got better and better as it went on and i was like this is just genius the way it all pieces together and the way they do it as usually i'm quite shut off with tv series's in terms of paying attention / analyzing the acting levels or writing levels / storyline, as i cba and if i like characters etc i ignore the finer details, e.g. i know hawaii five o has been $hit for about 6 years yet i still preserve.
Great intro song too.
But yeh, anyone seen it? Thoughts?

Also currently watching two other great ones in Animal Kingdom and Wentworth. Blacklist and Bosch and Sneaky Pete on usual hiatus, looking forward to Mayans MC later in the year.

Have you read the Harry Bosch books? I have done most of them, Michael Connelly is a master of the genre.
I watched the pilot of Bosch, and although the actor was not like who I had in my mind (no Reacher/Cruise travesty though ) it definitely had the feel of the books

Yeh Michael Connelly is a very good author, like his other books too! And i've read around 7-8 of the Bosch books, must admit i thought it was going to suck a bit like Reacher too but it has actually been a good watch, it's not amazing but just an easy good fun watch and definitely does have the feel of them.
Can't remember the actors name now but i think he suits it very well

Not read those. Do not read a lot these days, I mainly listen to podcasts.
John Connolly is probably my #1. A good mix - crime and enough supernatural without it being overbearing
