It looks like being a sellout crowd down at Ashton Gate this weekend and I'm not the only one I expect who didn't manage to get a ticket.
The Robin's are again also talking about promotion for this coming season, although last years team, has been partially dismantled. Aiden Flint [Centre Half] has gone to Middlesbrough and Bobby Reid [Forward 19 goals] moved to Cardiff City.
It looks like Joe Bryan a Ashton Gate Academy product who has had two very successful season's in City's first team, won't be there by Sat. He plays left-back. This must be causing Lee Johnson a head ache before Saturday.
Jack Hunt a rightback has signed from Sheffield Wednesday, they have retained Marlon Pack who has signed a new deal and also brought in striker Mohammed Eisa has joined from Cheltenham Town for an undisclosed fee. He scored 25 goals in 50 games last season.
Andreas Weinman has come in from Derby creating much sheep relief, he managed to score once in a Blue Moon for the rams or 9 goals in three seasons if you want the facts.
"We are delighted Andreas is joining us and I am excited to work with him," said Bristol City boss Lee Johnson.
"He is a really good player with good experience. His work rate is second to none and he is someone who will add knowhow to our group."
Bristol City have signed midfielder Hakeeb Adelakun on a three-year deal following the end of his contract with Scunthorpe United.
The 22-year-old made 169 appearances for Scunthorpe and joins the Robins with the option of a further year.
"Hakeeb is an exciting prospect, one I'm looking forward to working with," head coach Lee Johnson said.
"In my opinion he has the potential to replicate the form displayed by Albert Adomah and Yannick Bolasie."
There is a video on the BBC of him scoring a screamer for Scunny from well outside of the penalty area, so one to watch.
London-born Adelakun had spells at Crystal Palace and West Ham United as a youth before joining the Iron after a trial in 2012.
He went on to make his league debut against Tranmere at Glanford Park later that year, becoming the Iron's youngest player, aged just 16 years and 201 days.
City managed a 1-1 in their last friendly with Bournmouth on 27th July; Weinman scoring City's goal.Mo Eisa came off the bench to make his first City appearance. He made an instant impact, forcing Asmir Begovic into a good save within seconds of coming on and the crowd instantly warmed to the young striker.
Lee Johnson is still looking to bring in another keeper, as they only have Max O'Leary fit in the First Team Squad at present.
Frank Fielding hurt his hip in the Shrewsbury game and Johnson revealed that while the former Derby man doesn't need surgery he could be out for up to some 12 weeks in a huge blow for the Robins.
"I think we have to consider everything. I thought Max did himself no harm today. I thought he coped really well and he's a player we really fancy in our academy system.
"Yes, ideally we would like to see him play in League Two or League One first before playing in the Championship but sometimes opportunity comes and you just have to take it," he said.
Bristol City have signed former Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Niki Maenpaa on a free transfer.
Maenpaa spent pre-season on trial with City and earned a one-year contract, with the option of a further year.
The 33-year-old's arrival comes at a vital time, with regular number one Frank Fielding recently sidelined for three months with a hip injury.
Finland international Maenpaa made just 11 appearances in all competitions for Brighton in three seasons.

Could be a good time to play the Baggies. They’ll be stung after the Bolton defeat. Might create a few doubts in their minds as to whether they can handle the Championship. Go at them on Tuesday and capitalise.

Did any foreign-based trickies that use iFollow for the matches have problems with the live video stream yesterday?

Bosque, even Radio Nottm dropped out at the end and we all missed injury time. I blame the heatwave or a mischievous Wurzel.

I watched it on i-Follow. I had no problems at all. They'd even synced the Radio Nottingham commentary after 20-30 minutes!!!
Decided to go for $9 a pop instead of the $185 for the full season. I hope we'll have a lot of games on Sky / International broadcasters as the season progresses.
Amazes me that Leeds have seven games listed already?! Same every season.

While we’re waiting for news on Bryam, here’s an absolute clanger from Saturday by the one and only Danny Collins

They did it again a bit later too! A five yard backpass that should have been fifteen!
Oh dear He blamed it on a empty seat looking like the goalkeeper.
