Simple question and one that completely baffles me. Does anyone know why these two utter duds haven't been offloaded this summer ? What exactly are the club hoping to achieve by keeping them?
Surely their sales could have funded the likes of Zaha or a top class striker, or even both. But instead we're left with these two flops hoping that they miraculously "come good" for us.
Why are Morata and Bakayoko still here ?

What I find curious is the phrase give him time when he's not played a competitive match.
The board messed up again. They appointed too late and didn't sort out transfers out. We're linked with Zaha yet go ahead and loan Palace RLC without using that as part of a Zaha deal. How stupid is that. Emelano had his critics and I was NOT one of them as he was a football man. He bought in the Belgians as well as many others. The fact that Jose and the club let them slip through their fingers is not his fault. Now we have MG who is not a football person but a business woman. Bad things going to happen

The people running the club are facking Muppets. Especially that piece of shat Marina. Why the fack do we penny pinch on players that will improve the team (Alisson, Alex Sandro, Koulibaly, Nainggolan, Lukaku and many more yet we happily spend over the odds on players like Drinkwater, Zappa and Baka. IT MAKES NO SENSE. Too much short termism with our board.
We sell Bertrand and Filipe Luis and now we are in a position were we need a decent LB.
Sell Costa and loan Batshuayi when our main striker can't hit a facking barn door.
Sell De Bruyne, Lukaku and Salah and whether you agree or disagree they all scored against us last season costing us points and finished in teams ahead of us in the league.
We sold Cech, Replaced him with Courtois which was decent at the time but I actually seen us linked with Cech earlier in the summer... 3 years after he left being deemed not good enough! Our board couldn't organise a p!ss up in magalluf.

Zappa and especially Carroll were clearly Conte's doing.
------------------------------------------------------------
Have you any proof of this?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Conte had used targetmen throughout his time at Juve and Italy (Llorente, Pelle, Mandzukic,he even signed Bendtner) pre Conte we didn't really go after targetmen, and it certainly wasn't the typical "board signing" of down the years.
Yes there was clearly a few signings that were the boards doing like Bats and Barkley, but history suggests that Carroll and all the other targetmen were Antonio's doing.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
This is all very vague and suggestive. We were after Lukaku, a targetman, then got Moratta another targetman. So we always go for target men in the number 9 position.
Conte obviously wanted certain signings and I doubt whether he got any of them, hence his behaviour last season.
Emenal lefy by mutual consent in November because he was being blamed for the inadequate quality of players being recruited by MG who doesn't care of has knowledge of football players. Therefore we've got crap that we can't get rid of and continuing to get more crap in regardless of whether Conte's here or not.

The Lukaku links stated when Conte arrived, as did Morata's.
Out of the strikers we went for pre Conte only really Ba could be considered a targetman and he was signed as a squad player. Costa, Eto'o, Torres are far from targetmen.

I agree with this BF2. There were rumours earlier in the Summer that we might be about to appoint Ballack as a DoF, which in my opinion would be fantastic. He is very knowledgeable, understands the international game, and has an incredible winning mentality. He would have instant respect from within and outside the club, and I would absolutely trust his opinion as to who we need at the club. I wish we had someone like him playing now - he would be perfect ahead of Jorginho and Kante.

TBH honest forgot about Ballack. He's got the credentials to do the job and has always sounded assertive, which is good.
Regarding the midfielder we need the reports today are that we are after Mateo Kovacic, not sure he's the goal scoring player we need, ATM i'm just relieved we have gained some respect with the imminant signing of Kepa.
