Surprised Dortmund didn’t come back for him considering he did reasonably ok with him. There is question mark here !!!

They did go back in for him but we refused to sell him, and they didn't want to do a loan again with no option to buy. Can't blame them really, you can't build your whole team or make your main striker a loanee

We had to loan out 2 to meet our quotas. The options were Bats, Zouma, Bakayoko and Giroud.

Zouma was nailed on to go. Giroud nobody was interested. Its pointless keeping 4 strikers when you play a single striker system.

Exactly. A different way not to score a goal.

It appears as if Chelsea manager is quite naive and does not understand the importance of a goal scoring striker to me!

I thought Bats had potential.....why plan out and sell all the time?????😟😟😟

All through last pre season folks on here were labelling Bats useless and now ...he's another Lukaku ffs. We had to keep Girou if the choice was between the two of them.

Some here has got no clue of football. They struggle to grasp how Football works.

At the end of the day and season Giroud will have to play most of Chelsea's games. Coincidence?
