Rumours of a bid for the washing machine

With boots on.

Yip, few outlets reporting we’ve tabled a bid for Scott McKenna of Aberdeen.

He’s pretty slow, young and inexperienced, oh and he’s also injured for the next month.

So yeah, can clearly see why we are after him, smashing bit of business

This highlights the embarrassment of this transfer window, here’s no way on earth that boy was anywhere near the top of the list, if he was we’d have been in before they played Burnley.

In other news, Edouard has been ruled out for a week so he’ll likely sit out the next 2 or 3 games,

Ryan Christie is interesting Sunderland as well, I suspect he and Allan will be off within the next week.

So we have lodged a £3.5m bid for "the washing machine" and the Dons have rejected it already. Not convinced he is worth that kind of outlay and Aberdeen hold all the aces on this one. They know we need a CB, there is only 9-10 days left in the window and while I think that is quite a high offer they were never going to accept a first offer and will hold out for more dough..

Tierney ain’t worth 30m but if Aberdeen set a price like Celtic have done with Tierney, do what they do, meet it or bolt

Depends how serious we are and whilst in reality he isn't really worth £3.5m Aberdeen are in a strong bargaining position and will rightly squeeze every penny out the deal they can.

Alfie Mawson went for 20m and he ain’t any better so 3.5m is way to low

McKenna is still a raw and inexperienced CB and to be honest we should be looking to buy experience. We have more than enough "kids" and should be looking for an experienced pro elsewhere. Our board need to show ambition and go get Jeffrey Bruma but I doubt they will. He though is the type of CB we need not a work in progress CB like McKenna.

I can’t believe people rate that lump of wood at anything more than a few million.

Ffs he sold the jerseys in their biggest game of the season at Burnley.
