No, I am saying regardless of what money is available, since I don`t know how much is available, we should be targetting an experienced CB instead of more midfielders.

Maybe, but I don`t think many are convinced that he will improve us much, if at all. If that is the case, he is not what we need. We need proper experience.

Bruma is the type of signing we should be going for but it’s McKenna that seems to be the one

McKenna is the kind of signing we should have been making instead of Hendry

So here is what I think the 4 scenarios could be with our interest in McKenna

1. Sign him to loan him back for a season giving us a year to get rid of Hendry

2. Sign him and loan Aberdeen Hendry with a view to forgetting they have him and leaving him there

3. Signing McKenna with a view to Aberdeen keeping him on loan for a year while we bring in a more experienced defender for a year or two at the end of his playing career

4. Signing him to stockpile inexperienced young defenders

The good news is he's out with a hamstring injury.

I can't imagine him moving quick enough to pull a hamstring

I like McKenna and certainly think he has something about him

I'm not sure he's next level , he would be a smarter signing than Hendry but would certainly cost a fair bit to bring in

The Bruma rumours are a pile of shiete , if only our ambition was such but we will fumble around in the SPL looking for money making projects
