Derby County 2 - 0 Preston North End

Pride Park
Derby
25 August 2018
1500

So into the 5th game of the season and the A52 single lane/roadworks/dispute about payments not withstanding, we should be there.

Luckily we have a squad of about 451 as the injuries seem to be conspiring against us. Evans, who had a bright start on Tuesday, became the latest casualty in a strange sense of events which has seen our new signings/loans succumb to the Moor Farm love of the treatment table.

Now the gap has been reduced to goal difference, Florest are looking anxiously over their shoulder and earnestly explain that nothing is won in August but that they will be promoted because they have sold more season tickets than us. Will nepotism save them?

Preston are no push-overs, they lost to Norwich last week but are only 2 points behind and will be out for a positive result tomorrow at PP. I'm hoping that our 'playing out from the back' will start paying dividends and I hope that some of our more cerebrally challenged 'fans' stop moaning about the slightest setback and start backing any player with the Ram on their shirt. Oh and hopefully we may hear the South Stand tomorrow.

Team:-
Carson, Forsyth, Bryson, Tomori, Keogh (C), Mount, Lawrence, Bennett, Nugent, Ledley, Bogle

Substitutes: Roos, Wisdom, Lowe, Johnson, Jozefzoon, Marriott, Waghorn

*RAISING THE BAR*:-
Are highly intelligent people less happy than individuals with average intelligence?

Ang, you said Andy Weimann was playing no.10, but he clearly had a no. 14 on his shirt (today at least)?

Colin Murray is on good form on Quest. He just said:

"Forest up to 13th after the draw with Birmingham.."

Funny description of up, as they were 10th before the start of this weekends games.

That's clearly where we went wrong.
Whose idea was it to give him No.19 ?
I blame Paul Clement

I remember when bbc2 showed the test card the majority of the time. You know, with the young girl in front of the blackboard ?

Just found Quest+1 on Channel 83 in time for Forest

Quest is on channel 37. Even though I watch very little TV, it's my favourite channel (but the adverts drive me mad).

Mrs Scouse can't stand it.
