The tutters and groaners at Pride Park don’t seem very happy, and they are thick as schweinscheidt, so the answer to the question may be no.
Expecting Waghorn back for Nugent, FloJo to start ahead of Masonator, Forsyth and Ledley to keep their places with Malone and Huddz on the bench. I want to see all the players ahead of the ball showing for a pass. We cannot play out from the back unless they genuinely want to receive it. It wasn’t easy on Tuesday because they were all essentially man-marked but if Keogh and Tomori are limited in their options they will either go back again or else try to bring it out when they shouldn’t and lose it.
I understand what you are saying Vidal. This moaning and groaning about passing sideways and backwards only (and this is very apparent 'looking down' from the North Stand) comes about because of no option(s) to play the ball forward.
how is Harry Wilson getting on at derby fellas

It does surprise me that our fans have the patience of a 4 year old.
What are they supposed do if there’s nothing on, give it away?
It is exasperating listening to it because it’s a form of anti-support.
I understand the game and I can see the plan as I could see Rowett’s plan last season. The empty seats tell their own story though. Derby are currently as boring to watch if you want to be entertained as they were last season.
When they squad get to grips with it and the midfielders get on the ball more we will see the benefits but it’s going to take time for the lads to be comfortable and Frank has told me to be patient so I will be.

RAISING THE BAR*:-
"Are highly intelligent people less happy than individuals with average intelligence?"
Answer! No, I am very happy indeed. We will have a good season.
Rameses, do you think Derby are boring? Admittedly getting thumped at home ain't entertaining but we seem to have plenty of movement, enterprise and have had decent chances.
Or....perhaps I just set the bar rather low
Going behind and having to chase the game means taking risks which makes it entertaining. We’ve had to do that 3 times this season which means the game plan went out the window quite early against Leeds and Millwall.
Ipswich was won using the game plan which as a spectacle, especially in the first half was a hard watch.
It’s a bit odd because in the two pre season games we were excellent both playing it out from the back and pressing the oppo.
This is where Frank wants us to be and that will take confidence. Pre season has nothing riding on it and the players played with freedom but they have shown they can do it. Frank knows it but getting them to play with confidence and freedom when it really counts is the key.
In the meantime it’s safety first which translates to it being a bit boring.
It’s a journey, as people are fond of saying nowadays, and already bought my ticket.
Heb. It is never boring in the Championship. Any team can beat any other team. I think even Forest beat Derby County on one occasion! And, if the best way of playing is to work it from the back - so be it! But it takes quite a lot of care and skill. That is the way Frank wants to play and Mel and the fans pay him to play that way if he thinks it is the best way of winning. It is certainly better and more enjoyable than Hoofball. For my part he is paid to order such things. I am willing to show patience. I wonder what method Stoke are playing.
Middle of the park is where it is breaking down. We dont seem to have the balance quite right as nobody is showing for the defenders to pass to. That and Keogh is kr4p obviously.
Thanks Ramdini. With three games televised already I am particularly well-informed!
On the subject of intelligence - cartoon today of a boy receiving his exam results - straight F's, and saying "I was present but I was not involved"

Was that in Scotland?
Here they are now graded from 9 - 1. 9 considered an A**, 8 - A*, 7 - A, 6/5 - B, 4 - C and so on
No, it was in The Spectator.
Not that you would have ever come across an "F" grade anyway View!
The Spectator?
I’m afraid there’s no hope for you Heb.
Despite your Military service you’ll be in front of the same firing squad as View and his kids.
Back to the footy for me.
I’m confident of victory tomorrow whoever plays but I really would like to see Huddz involved. I just think we’ve missed his bit of quality.

Been talking to a Norwich STH today and those not over-enamoured with the possession-based stuff, beware. Their midweek game with Preston was a complete borefest until the 80th minute apparently, Farke, of course, being another student of the sideways and backwards game.
If the same were to happen at PP tomorrow, the likelyhood is that Vidal and View would be sitting in empty stands by the 80th minute.
However, we are far better than Norwich, and with PNE's injury and suspension problems, I foresee, with the assistance of a welcome early goal, a comfortable victory transpiring for Frankie Lampard's Barmy Army

What, with that nice Fraser Nelson as editor ?
It is View. Clearly why Heb’s number is up. You’re obviously up for anti monarchist leanings.
I’m trying to create a left leaning republican monarchist state.
Currently only one member, perhaps it’s just a bit too niche. Though if I can recruit enough people to make up a firing squad then I’m in business.
