No way are you guys thinking about selling Kante, if we let him go our midfield is finished.

He's the only one with legs and the ability to cover ground. Ok, he's not the best with the ball but he keeps it simple. The real problem is we don't have a striker who can score 20+ goals and we don't have a defence that can win games 1-0 against good opposition.

RLC suggested as a false 9 sums up what we think about our current strikers

If we had a chance to keep Kovacic I'd sell Kante and look to replace him with a player with similar qualities that Eriksen possesses. Goals, assists, creative, good pressing and good work rate.

I never actually thought we would be able to trump a forward line of a broken Torres, a well past his sale date Eto and Demba Ba and but we have managed to do it
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Nick would never believe I'd said it - but what I'd give to have Demba Ba back now!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Demba was ok...we criminally under used him when we had him...I used to say as such every week...then we used him & he was really good

Drogba,Anelka,Kalou,Costa and Crespo were all decent strikers bought under Roman Abramovich.I would include Eto as he also did well if we do consider his age when he signed on a short term contract for Chelsea.
