Firstly well done to Gareth Southgate. If you'd told me a couple of years ago I'd be more than happy with him in charge I wouldn't have believed it. He's given young talent a chance and encouraged them to play which can only be a good thing long term. A player like Sancho getting his debut and doing well is proof that the correct move can bring great results and shoot you into the big time. My question is why aren't city getting slaughtered for letting him go ? If it had been Chelsea we would never hear the end of it. To a lesser extent Phil foden, guys a massive talent but not playing, again not much said. Solanke left to Liverpool, again we were criticised for him leaving. What has he done other than warm their bench ? Why hasn't klopp been bashed ?

Only a matter of time before Morgan Gibbs White gets a call up, Southgate is a big fan

Only seen glimpses of him but he looks like another big talent

Will need go go on loan of break into the Wolves team before he does. Not really seen him what’s he like?

Think he will become quite versatile but more a forward thinking midfielder than a deep lying one, very good on the ball and good range of passing. Personally would like to see him in the center of a three in a 4-2-3-1

saw highlights of Wolves game the other week. Looks like he's got a keen eye for a killer pass.

That’s probably going to be the hardest position to break into the England squad for in the coming years. Especially with the likes of Alli, Maddison, Barkley, Loftus-Cheek, Mount, Foden and hopefully Gomes all vying for a place in the coming years.
Good for us to have competition for places I suppose. I just hope we don’t end up being overstocked in a few positions and lacking in others, which has so often been the case for us.

City (Pozo, Sancho, Marcos Lopes, Rekik, Maffeo, Angelino, Manu Garcia) have let a number of young talents go without the repercussions Chelsea get in media/from fans. They have also copied our model of a ‘loan army’ but it’s only Chelsea that are well known for it. Liverpool letting Suso go is also under appreciated.

Really, who for?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Off the top of my head I can think of..
Angus gunn 10m
rony lopes 9m
Sancho 10m
Nmecha and foffana around 4m each.
Maffeo 9m, really didn't want him sold looked good on loan in girona.
Denayar 5m
Angelino I think was 3m
Saw it online a few months ago, cant remember what site tho.

Pretty good going.
BK, yeah that’s true. I think due to belief among many, and has been the case years before Pep assembled this squad, that City’s squad is by far the best and these players just weren’t good enough to get chances.
Whereas it’s been different with Chelsea’s squad, even if the truth is similar that a lot of the players you’ve had/have just aren’t good enough either.

City had no choice did they? He was at the end of his contract and refused their offer. He was only just 18 too
De Bruyne was 23 when he left Chelsea, and had already had a productive Bundesliga season on loan
