afobe could play with alan lee or novak..

i dont think he could partner rhodes..not from the start of a match anyway..

id take him back like a shot as i dont think it would make clark go back to 4-5-1... we have been to two of the strongest sides in the division and got 4 points that should really have been 6, there is no point going anywhere else and going backwards..

Benik did cost us we was ok with out him and as soon has we signed him the house fell down . If you can recall we played our best game away b4 Benik got hid chance at sheff weds I no he came on has a sub b4 u start , but that was the last match we played well in . Cas you have know say cos you not a proper town fan so zip it before I tell every one about what you do on match days .

Afobe would walk into any team in this league, ours included. He could play with Novak or Lee away from home and he can play with Rhodes at home as proven last season. He was by far and away our best player towards the end of last season and didn't get anywhere near the credit he deserved. It's all good saying he cost us promotion because we played 4-5-1 with him, but I guarantee we would have fallen short a lot sooner had it not been for him.

it wasnt the 4-5-1 or the players selected, it was our tactics and our gameplan that cost us the points..

afobe played well on his own but would have done considerably better with a regular partner up front, or even with a bit of support now and again..


its not the system its how you play it...its not the players but how you play to the strengths of an individual player, be it a lone striker or a pair.. knocking up long high balls to novak/rhodes wont work, we have winessed it, knocking it into the channels regularly wont work for alan lee..

get away from systems and more concerened about your players and their own strengths/weaknesses and play to the first not the second..

Well I have a strong feeling of me saying I told you so if we signed him . No mater what you say about it not being about systems 38, it obviously is when it come to Clark playing Benik . How can you expect a lad of 16 just finished eating his last rusk get us up to the championship ?? If he came back just a year older he would be expected to do it again he's no were near ready for a Season like that at his age and it will only hurt us if we dont go up not Benik .

Loui, look at our results before Benik and with Benik, how did he cost us promotion again? When we played 4-5-1 we accrued more points than we did playing 4-4-2. It was our home form playing 4-4-2 which eventually cost us, while our away form kept us up there with a chance.

Loui does not look at where we was and what we did when he was in the team. He judges him by an easy miss here and there and decides he aint good enough. Him and Jacko think we should be shelling out BIG money on a proven Striker. As to who this Striker is or if he is prepared to a, be sold by his club or b, drop down a division is irrelevent to these two. They just don't seem to get it where Strikers are concerned.
