He has been a very important player for us over the last few seasons. He is frustrating at times and passes sideways or backwards a lot but his role is to keep the ball moving and to control the tempo. He is used in a deeper role and in that role it is key not to lose posession which is probably why he plays it safe a little too often.

When we played Arsenal our midfield was overrun and lacked a leader. he is a good leader and I am not the only one that thinks that as our last 2 managers and the England managers felt the same so I take their word over any armchair pundit here.

I never understand a fan that attacks the clubs players it baffles me. They may not be world beaters but don't start the nasty name calling.

As Shanks said "if you can't support us when we lose or draw then don't support us at all"

Shanks would turn in his grave listening to some of the abuse he takes.

Support the whole team or go and support City

Swimmingly, getting paid a fortune despite being shiite and have FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League medals.

Some of them even have a Premier League medal.

Klopp knows more about the quality of players than you TVJ.

The evidence is the purchase of players by Klopp. Most of the players he has bought are quality so he knows something about a player when he sees him playing.

If Klopp thinks he is the right player to play the deeper role than it is fine by me.

Everyone and his dog want Fabinho in the team but he was overrun in the first half by the Everton midfielders.

So most pool fans are saying the same as England fans, but when Hendo plays that way for the national team pool fans all rush to defend him !!!!! Fickle or what ?

Henderson isn't the greatest player, but some of our fans, attitude towards him on this forum baffles me.

His work rate and professionalism are important. He's an experienced player who plays it simple and grafts. That's his job and he does it effectively.

Depending on how the game is panning out , he can be a hindrance or influential. It's Klopps job to figure out where and when his required.

There is games where his not been available and we've missed him, likewise can be annoying especially when teams sit back and we struggle to break them down.

His one of the tools that Klopp has at his disposal, so trust in him to play the right system and players dependent on the opposition.

think hendo still is a very good squad player, don't think he should be captain because of this. he would not be in your best starting 11 but he has his role to play.
i remember before his injury a couple of years ago he was leading the league in passes and pass % double over the second place player and many were pin point long passes.

Are you serious?

You only have no problem admitting that because of pressure from rival fans.

Hendo was crucial in that midfield and you don't think him missing had any impact? Stevie slipped but we conceded goals throughout that season and were able to come back numerous times. It impacted our system.
