Atleast fabinho can carry the ball and majority of his passes are forward into attackers feet. Like Keita hes growing into the team which is good, hopefull we won't need Hendo much at all soon, dno why we he was tied to a 5 year contract the other year. Still a decent squad player but becoming more and more frustrating to watch, more suited to bring on when we are winning cause when we are after a goal hes annoying as fack.
That said when hes in a midfield of Hendo Milner Wijnaldum it doesnt help cause those 2 can be just as bad as Hendo when it comes to having no balls on the ball especially paper tiger Wijnaldum, might be a bit hard on Milner hes usually positive on the ball.
either way i wish he'd stop running to the toes of Gomez and VVD demanding the ball like hes some kind of quater back, they are both better passes than you Hendo fack off get in space and offer an option rather than just getting in the way and slowing the tempo down.
I thought he had a decent game yesterday personally. Kept it simple and moved it on quick when needed.

Hendo was missed in that midfield when he got suspended though he was important in it back then we didnt really have anyone else to do his role like we have 3 now.
Look at what Milner done yesterday - he was everywhere and scored a goal from pretty much nothing - he’s done this time and time again
Our captain does something special once every 2/3 years, he and it is nowhere near good enough for a team that seriously wants to challenge for major honours. He is a good guy and I’m sure he’s a model pro, his attitude seems spot on but his ability is more suited to a mid table prem side
He never got on the ball last night or give anyone a whack when our boys were being roughed up - he should have been shouting and left Bardsley in a heap - set the tone
Watch VVD he was trying to start things off even from the back - no excuses whatsoever for for a really good guy but bang average player

He’s simply not good enough. This thing that some of our supporters have about defending his performance is weird. It’s almost like they’re in denial.
Yes he’s more of a protect the back 4 type player but Liverpool by and large go with a midfield 3 and 2 wing backs so the opportunity to pass forward presents itself very often but he just doesn’t deliver.
As for protection of the back 4 and stopping attacks for the opposition, I can’t say I think he does a good job of that.
Yes he’s committed and yes he’s always making himself available but it’s time we upgraded.

You already did. Milner is the upgraded not as fragile version of Henderson and without the ego. Just haven't got shot of him yet.
He has been a very important player for us over the last few seasons. He is frustrating at times and passes sideways or backwards a lot but his role is to keep the ball moving and to control the tempo. He is used in a deeper role and in that role it is key not to lose posession which is probably why he plays it safe a little too often.
When we played Arsenal our midfield was overrun and lacked a leader. he is a good leader and I am not the only one that thinks that as our last 2 managers and the England managers felt the same so I take their word over any armchair pundit here.

Klopp knows more about the quality of players than you TVJ.
The evidence is the purchase of players by Klopp. Most of the players he has bought are quality so he knows something about a player when he sees him playing.
