Suffice to say that the most important fixture of the weekend is being played on Monday night.
The extra two days preparation might well hand the Reds a slight advantage if either Fox or Dawson appear in the match squad?
As our centre half injury crisis is far from over, it's interesting to note that Rangers haven't managed to progress beyond the group stage of the Europa League; that probably means less game time for Joe Worrall who isn't always starting games as it is.
This is the perfect opportunity for Karanka and the lads to show how good they really are; this is a team that plays with greater flair and attacking threat away from home and with the muttons not having the meanest defence, some goals should be in the offing. Is another 5-5 goal feast in store?
Can the sheep score five in one game without at least two being own goals?

Just watched the whole game on Ifollow Stroud made some strange decisions. It would have been a soft penalty, Bogle should have been off, he denied Forest several times with Grabban clear through.
With a full strength team we will win easily at the C.G.

I think Forest are bottom of the fair play league, is that right? I didn't think there was much to get excited about in the challenges last night from either team. Maybe it would be better to have a match where there is a bit of carnage to get a bit of spice back into the fixture. It was all a bit of a damp squib.
I agree with Will that Derby did not have the guile to break Forest down. I felt that Forest with that defence were there for the taking. I don't think either team played anywhere near their best and 0-0 was fair. I was surprised how little football Forest tried to play but I think Karanka was very worried about his defence so played a lot of long ball so as not to have his back four exposed to a turnover. Both teams will have to play far better to challenge at the end of the season, but I think that both will do so.

The fair play league is a bit misleading as it includes the league cup games, we had two sending offs in Smith and Goncalves, which are players that hardly play!

Surely Goncalves is going to return to Portugal in Jan. The odds were always against all three of the Portuguese lads settling in at Forest. Seems he isn’t making much of an impression on training. Suppose it is also unfortunate that Lolley, Cash, Osborn and Dias have also performed, to varying degrees.

I think the deal on the three Portugese guys was for the season. Neither side can terminate the loan early.
Anyone know the rule concerning over age players playing for the U23s. Why don't Goncalves, Tachtsidis, and maybe one or two others play for them?

Think they can but then they’d be pushing academy players out of that team.
I think Tachsidis is a vanity signing by the Greeks. He hasn’t made an appearance!
