You are surely joking? The guy is 36 and well past his 'use by' date. He simply hasn't got the energy required to fit into our style of play. Great in his day but there is a reason why he is surplus at Bournemouth. We have three good strikers all better than him and in tune with Bielsa FM frequency.

Absolutely right. Defoe was a great, and I mean great, striker in his day, under-rated imho, possibly the best to play for England in a decade. He probably has a season or two left in him bringing a bit of class and glamour to a lower-league outfit, but signing for a Chamionship club on a gruelling promotion-push? Get real!

1) a) the day marcus maddison moves cant come soon enough. if he was even half decent he would be at a better club than peterboro.

b) we might be going to the prem and need proven quality or nothing, not decent league one players

Bamford is out and has a history of injuries as does Roberts. Roofe sometimes has spells out injured also. The word is called cover and it would be nice to out manoeuvre Sheffield Utd in a transfer window.

He signed a three year deal for them in 2017, so that runs till the end of next season.

Rangers have signed him on an 18 month loan deal... so that takes him to the end of his contract with Bournemouth... so how the hell have they not just signed him if that's the case?
