Team News
Leeds United
Leeds midfielder Lewis Baker will return to the starting line-up as boss Marcelo Bielsa makes wholesale changes. Baker will step in for Mateusz Klich, who will be rested, while Aapo Halme will replace Pontus Jansson at the heart of defence and Leif Davis comes in for the injured Barry Douglas.
Bielsa has confirmed Jamie Shackleton will start at right-back and forward Tyler Roberts will also return to the starting line-up alongside Jack Harrison, who will feature in a central attacking role. Skipper Liam Cooper, Gaetano Berardi, Stuart Dallas and Patrick Bamford all remain sidelined.
QPR
QPR pair Joe Lumley and Darnell Furlong will both be assessed before Sunday's home FA Cup tie against Leeds.
Goalkeeper Lumley took a knock to the face in the New Year's Day draw at Aston Villa and defender Furlong is feeling the effects of four games in 10 days.
Boss Steve McClaren will also monitor defenders Toni Leistner and Joel Lynch (groin), plus striker Nahki Wells, who has been nursing a dead leg. Massimo Luongo is on international duty with Australia, while Geoff Cameron (ankle), Angel Rangel (thigh) and Tomer Hemed (groin) are all still out.

Match Facts
Queens Park Rangers will face Leeds United in the FA Cup for the first time since February 1987, with the Whites running out 2-1 winners thanks to goals from Ian Baird and Brendan Ormsby.
Leeds United won 3-1 on their last visit to Loftus Road thanks to a Kemar Roofe second half hat-trick in a Championship match in December 2017.
QPR have lost each of their last five FA Cup third round matches, last reaching round four during the 2012-13 campaign.
Away from home, Leeds United have lost three of their last four FA Cup third round encounters, last beating Cambridge United at this stage back in January 2017.
That's it then I'm sure there'll be plenty of views aired on whether we want a Cup Run or not, personally i'd like to see a Win if only to inspire confidence in some of the younger Lads who'll be playing, My prediction no bloody idea tbh, so i'll hope for a 1-2 Scoreline

Don't think there was any reason to worry about that performance.

Agree
Strange game in that it seem nobody wanted a draw

I wouldn’t mind seeing Roberts start a couple of games against lower half opposition.

like i said alioski rarely produces a decent cross
----------------------------------------------------------------------
you don’t know a lot about football do you ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
know a lot more than you obviously, his crossing is woeful
----------------------------------------------------------------------
actually it i isn’t.
it’s quite good.
just haven’t got the height in attack...
and some of us just don’t expect every cross to result in a goal

Any oppo, why should it only be a so called lower half?

Always liked Roberts... Really good touch, seems to work hard. Had 50% strike rate when played as striker in absence of Roofe. Think I was expecting him to have a bit more pace when we signed him, but might have the attributes to be a good 10.

Away at QPR, both sides made changes. Both went for the win, we lost.
Roberts and Shack impressed. Clarke...its clear to see he aint a starter yet.

Agree that Clarke was not as effective as a starter.
Alioski did have a few poor set pieces (corners and at least one free kick) but has been playing really well
Lately and otherwise had a decent game today.
We had no defense to speak of (the Bielsa way, somewhat) today, so not a surprising result.
I think what has happened to the FA Cup is truly sad. It’s always been recognized as the most prestigious football competition in the world. For years, as a teenager, I watched the final at old Wembley with my dad. The pageantry and the occasion made it the most awesome event in the sporting world long before the Olympics opening ceremony became such an over produced spectacle.
If the clubs don’t care much about the cup, if teams play with only a few regular starters, if fans talk about it not being a big deal if the team loses, how difficult is it for us to have a really committed feeling about these games?
I actually felt like I wasn’t a real Leeds United fan after the game. I just wasn’t that disappointed with the result. It was an “oh well” sensation. Didn’t really matter, didn’t really count....
Just think about that. It’s awful!
Lastly, we aren’t all going to agree always. Different opinions are just that. Let’s not make it personal when someone has one or more different to yours.
I now look forward to a happy birthday win on Friday against Direby!

... sums up my feelings pretty well too Johnny. I used to love cup final day as a kid, watch hours of the build up beforehand. As a young adult it was always a firm
Part of the beer calendar. Now? I can’t Remember the last time I watched it, and couldn’t tell you any of the recent winners. Real shame.
Yesterday I was ‘a bit disappointed’, when we lose in the league i’m gutted

I lived near Wembley as a kid, could see stadium out of my window hear the crowd when a goal was scored.
There used to be an it’s a Knick our build up before finals. Replays could go on and on, matches on terrestrial tv.
Nowadays matches all over the place, on all sorts of channels and also instead of cup winners cup we have, well, I don’t even know what we have for winning Fs cup now.
This has been driven by saturation of European matches.
In old days, champions went into European cup, next couple in to fairs cup/UEFA cup and cup winners into cup winners cup.
It worked.
You would look forward to playing quality European teams, it was an event, now it seems like Man City playing Dortmund every week by listening to five live and it just numbs you to it, the saturation has diluted the importance, the value, not just for your own team (look at apathy now from Man U fans) but also for watching other teams (when I was a kid and Liverpool in europe I’d watch their matches hoping they’d win as the English team in europe).
We can’t go back to old days but Fs cup will completely wither away unless treated more seriously by all concerned.

Alioski's least of our issues that need addressing.
--------
This, this a thousand times.
I've been very critical of him in the past, but at the moment he is well worth his place in the team.
There is a reason bielsa picks him for every game
