does it bother you

when your idolised player or manager grew up supporting your rivals?

does it make them less of an idol in your eyes?

Take OGS for example, legend but boyhood liverpool fan.

Denis friggin'Irwin. a complete Don!
but yeah, it is a funny one.. i remember it hurt me when Mark Hughes showed love for Chelsea. Now, i can't remember if he is a Chelsea fan, but i think he is, but that left a bad taste.
But i'm over it, he's still a Legde.
but as been said, its all about Professionalism.
Can't complain, especially when these players have stella careers for yer club.

Not at all. I can't imagine Busby or Fergie or Bobby or Dennis or Robbo were United fans growing up.
