Anyone else think he’s starting to sound a bit like Jose?
Everyone else’s fault and all that.

Zinedine Did and would have been a better managerial prospect in my view though.

The Chelsea team need a complete revamp if they are to play the way Sarri wants them to. But they have a mishmash of players that don't fit their manager's philosophy.

Yep...this is the issue...but if he continues as he is it will not end well....we cannot afford to be outside of the CL again...and if we are the focus will be on him not being flexible enough with what he's currently got to use
Newcastle t term he might get the side he wants to put his plan into place...but it's dependant on now

Who doesn’t fit his philosophy? We’ve got a better team then Napoli, with two decent ball playing cbs. Emerson and Cho down the left and we’d secure too 4

Or maybe 3 managers in a row have had issues with these players so maybe stop giving them a free pass?

It’s always the players. Look at how the players performed for Utd prior to jose’s Sacking. Disgraceful. Sarri said the Chelsea players are really hard to motivate.

I think Sarri is expecting too much from a restricted potential squad. Some of the players they have don’t fully suit his style, yet he’s expecting them to perform the way he wants 🙄.
He maybe needs to reasses his current options and make some tweaks here and there and take some of the load off their star player.
Bringing in Higuain is a gamble, because this league is a different animal to the continent. It may or my not work, but between now and the end of the season they really need to get things in motion, or Sarri’s second season at Chelsea could be cut short and I think he knows this.

Sarri never plays Emerson & CHO...the obstinate fack that he is

Never expected these players to down tools so quickly. They usually stay motivated for a full season.
Could it be that they already see themselves out of the title race hence have already given up on the season?

The team haven’t downed tools. Just some are not good enough.
swap alonso and Willian and we will secure top 4 with ease.
Azpi rudi luiz Emerson
Kante Jorg cm
Cho cf hazard
Easy top 4

While I can not fully refute that downing tools excuse, I will throw into the ring a variety of reasons.
1. Competitive competition. This league is unforgiving if you take your eye off the ball for even 1 game. Regardless of how brief you think you’ve slipped up, that gap between you and your rivals can grow and shrink like in the case of ours in the blink of an eye. And before you know you are already a few points behind - and in a league with 3 consistent high pressure teams vying to get above you alongside 3 other teams who are in similar states as you as progress goes, this is mentally exhausting.
2. No winter break - I know this has been discussed before plenty of times, but with no mid season break, this constant onslaught of mid season game pile ups has already taken many victims over many seasons. So nothing is going to change there. When the mid season break does finally get brought in, it’ll still unlikely change the league orders but it will help any team with season targets to prepare better both physically and mentally.
3. Progressive tactics - football is changing so fast in this modern game that when you as a coach think you have mastered the key to success, along comes another master plan to bring down your castle. Mix this with the constant high pressures of reaching/failing your season’s targets and you can begin to understand why some managers become wary of experimenting too much when the thought of failure/money lost is looming large and your job is at risk.
These 3 reasons amongst others are 3 reasons beyond the direct influences of players, but as a whole can influence the fortunes of a club because whichever route a manager and club decides to take can sow the seeds for the clubs’ next season campaigns. And when things don’t work out, these 3 reasons I’ve mentioned snowball into bigger problems for the club, and then some players begin to lose faith/trust in their manager’s tactics to climb out of this trouble.
Though it should be noted that players should always play to their highest level in theory this is not always possible. But to not care is unforgivable.
