Or maybe 3 managers in a row have had issues with these players so maybe stop giving them a free pass?
Maybe but I’m not sure the public route is the way forward.
The approach of publicly criticising his players is certainly a very bold one. It will either work or spectacularly fail.
We know from past experience with that current group of Chelsea players once the players lose faith in the manager they down tools and virtually give up.
Could work but also could massively backfire and see him being sacked at the end of the season.
The Chelsea team need a complete revamp if they are to play the way Sarri wants them to. But they have a mishmash of players that don't fit their manager's philosophy.

Wasn't it Hazard, Costa and Fabregas, the three rats?
Not Jorginho is all that either. Neat and tidy but doesn’t offer that much.
Think he's made a huge mistake coming out the way he did. Be interesting their game against Spurs, they were absolutely dreadful against Fulham today, Chelsea really should be winning that.

You've got to think that at a club where they sack managers all the time at the first sign of trouble, it would be easy for the players to down tools when things go a bit awry knowing they can start afresh when a new manager comes in in the not too distant future.
Shearer made a good point actually that Sarri is blaming the players yet he’s playing arguably his two best players out of position.

Never said it did but it shows Sarri is not blameless

The problem with that statement is I'm not sure Shearer knows what Kante's position is? People and pundits who think Kante's a DM have no clue what they're talking about, in a very successful PL history he's played there six times.
The accurate statement would be he's playing in the right position but given the wrong role, that's an arguable point.

I found it strange that Sarri said Kante doesn’t have the technique to play Jorginho role while playing in a position he arguably needs even better technique to play.

The only way to get the best out of Kante is by operating as a counter attacking team, in that respect Sarri's doomed to fail with him.
The Hazard/F9 thing is a matter of opinion, personally I've seen nothing to suggest Hazard's incapable nor it could potential be his best position, we just lack the movement around him to utilize the role properly.
He’d have to go significantly further before he became anything like the utter disaster Jose was at Man U.
Or the complete and utter embarrassment he was in his last season at Chelsea or sccummy depths he reached at Real Madrid.

Doomed to fail? Kantes Been our best player this season. His consistency has been phenomenal. H is not the issue.
My issue is sarri calling these players out whenches the one who keeps picking the same players. With Willian and alonso we start with 9 men and have no left flank. Chuck in hazard as a cf who always has his back to goal and the whole team shape is wrong. And then he calls out the mentality of the players. How about, play 11 men and players in their natural positions.
Sarri is more stupid than Jose but he is Blue stupid but still a talented manager !
Zinedine Did and would have been a better managerial prospect in my view though.

Yep...this is the issue...but if he continues as he is it will not end well....we cannot afford to be outside of the CL again...and if we are the focus will be on him not being flexible enough with what he's currently got to use
Newcastle t term he might get the side he wants to put his plan into place...but it's dependant on now
Who doesn’t fit his philosophy? We’ve got a better team then Napoli, with two decent ball playing cbs. Emerson and Cho down the left and we’d secure too 4

It’s always the players. Look at how the players performed for Utd prior to jose’s Sacking. Disgraceful. Sarri said the Chelsea players are really hard to motivate.
