Welcome to the Tread and a trip darn sarf for the Travelling Faithful, seems like there's a game every other bloody day this week
Intense game and water sports last Saturday might have taken the toll on some of the Lads but hopefully they'll have enough in reserve to see off QPR.
Venue...Loftus Road...Date...26th Feb...Kick Off...1945hrs
Team News
Leeds United
Marcelo Bielsa has named the same starting XI from the win over Bolton.
Gaetano Berardi and Barry Douglas are set to be back in the matchday squad following injury.
Winger Jack Clarke is still being assessed following a virus and Adam Forshaw is close to returning, but striker Kemar Roofe (knee) remains sidelined.
QPR
Midfielder Luke Freeman could return from a hip problem as QPR aim to avoid an eighth straight Championship defeat when they host promotion-chasing Leeds.
Defender Angel Rangel and midfielder Geoff Cameron are out.

Match facts
QPR have won three of their last four home matches against Leeds in all competitions (L1), including a 2-1 win in the FA Cup this season.
Leeds haven't won consecutive away league visits to QPR since winning there in 1968-69 and 1973-74; seasons when the Whites won the top-flight title.
Queens Park Rangers have lost each of their past seven league games; of the 72 EFL clubs, only AFC Wimbledon have been on a longer losing streak in the Football League this season (8).
Leeds striker Kemar Roofe has scored six of Leeds' seven league goals against QPR since the start of last season; he is injured and will miss this match.
QPR have conceded 11 goals in their last three league games at Loftus Road; the Hoops had only conceded 13 goals in their opening 13 home league games of the season before this run.
Leeds have won one of their last 13 away Championship games in London (D5 L7) - however, that win came at Loftus Road against QPR in December 2017.
So with QPR on a pretty dire run (9 games without a win) they'll be looking to get something from this match, much like Bolton so I expect a tight game and i'll predict a 1-3 scoreline with Pablo and Bamford getting the goals we really need to get our start of season form back

Cannot argue with that fella

Not convinced by Bamford either, missed a hat full against Bolton and a couple tonight, really hope he proves me wrong

You can say we're only 2pts behind the leaders but that's not the whole story: the two above are playing well while we have lost our form and simply can't create chances, and when we do, we can't convert them. Need Roofe back because Bamford blew it tonight.

Bamford just short of sharpness and that's due to not quite being there fitness wise.
We're still in it but the trend in our overall form over last few games is a worry. Need a massive improvenent against WBA on Friday. Do we have the bottle for it?

Peak, Preston have had a terrible run and a good run this season, so have qpr... they’re nothing like as bad as the run suggests, if you read the match reports. It had to end some time. Sod’s law it’s us... not hiding from a poor performance from us, but from what I saw we didn’t deserve to lose.
Same problems though... not creating enough clear cut chances from the posession we have and not taking enough of the ones we do create.

Fair comments there!
