Don't want to see this shocking midfield combination again.
Lost at Napoli
Lost at PSG
Lost at Man City
Got bummed by Sissoko today.
Henderson very poor today and only till our best midfielder came on that we started to take the attack back to Spurs.
Hendo, Wij & Milner

Yes all of that. However with the next game only a few days away and Henderson and Milner running themselves into the ground, I'd imagine two changes in midfield. I'd also like to see Keita get a game as he hasn't played much recently and we will need him for the final part of the season.

Need is a bit subjective. We're also winning games regularly and a couple of weeks ago that same midfield smashed Bayern, Hendo got motm and Thiago (who I was reliably informed would run rings around our 'dogs' was nowhere.

Well Henderson came off after 5 minutes when we smashed Bayern and Fabinho came on and was great. Henderson did play well in the 0-0 though. That's what I mean about up and down though. Fabinho is more consistent at the moment.

Yeah sorry I meant smashed Bayern in the tie, wasnt clear there.
I was surprised Henderson started yesterday just because he had some fitness issues going into.the England games and then played in those also. Klopp trusts him though.
Personally I would not ve offering Milner a new contract this summer if we can sign someone. Havent a clue whats going on with Keita.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The funny thing is that midfield and those tactics are so reliant on Trent & Robertson playing well.
Even though we won, it doesn't negate the fact that the midfield was poor yesterday.
It's also very baffling what's happening with Keita & Shaqiri. From the outside it looks like poor man-management for me.

I'd definitely give Milner a new contract. He's a perfect squad player. Assuming he accepts the reduced role.

Shaqiri was given less game time due to not putting enough work in on the pitch, in my opinion. So many times when he has played Klopp has been screaming at him to work. We can't afford to have lazy passengers.
Keita just needs time, he hasn't gelled into the team well at this point and had a couple of injuries. The signs are there however, so hopefully it happens soon.

Like I said...from the outside. I don't claim to actually know what's going on with them.
Shaqiri played well earlier in the season...didn't take on a shot against Leicester and hasn't been seen since.
Keita played well enough for about 3 games straight and hasn't been seen since.
Lallana does buggger(why is this word banned) all for about 2 years and comes straight back into the side.

Lallana was injured and has played much less games than both Keita and Shaqiri. He also needs games if he's to come back.

Don't really care about the makeup as long as Fabinho is starting. Its not just the winning tackles he provides but also wins headers in midfield. Henderson struggled with the ball in the air. Even Lucas beat him to a few headers.
Wij is starting to look tired which is a concern. Probably still gets in due to his engine and pace.
Milner starting to look old.
