Has anyone had to make a complaint against LUTV and the process for doing it?
I am on holiday and was in one of the 'territories' that the Birmingham game was being streamed. I paid my fiver, but then got a message saying I was in an unauthorised territory. I emailed them and got 1 email back saying it was only available in certain territories, with a list of them (wished they'd actually read my first email, saying where I was) a 2nd email asked me what data connection I was using, so I sent them the information.
Despite me sending 2 further emails, I have heard nothing and want my fiver reimbursed.
Anyone any ideas?

I think LUTV is an absolute shambles and needs a complete rework. Daft really as the owner is a TV streaming specialist. We don't even have a post match phone in anymore.

Does AR/his companies operate streaming services or does he sell streaming rights?
For the most part LUTV has worked well here, but Nilwall was shockingly bad!

I was struggling and tried the youtube connection which was worse, all the players were fuzzy, then realised I had my phone on top of the router which was badly affecting the quality of the signal. Perfect in the second half. Might not be LUTV, have you checked the speed of your connection.

Elsbels - it wasn't that I had speed / connection issues, I've had that in the past, especially the first half of the Millwall game. It just would not let me into the live video stream and was coming up with the message that I was in an unauthorised territory.
The two things that are really bugging me are that it took my £5, so surely It recognised that I was in an area that was authorised to watch the game and then the total lack of support from the LUTV support team - whom I have heard nothing from since 10 minutes before kick off despite sending them 3 emails since then.

Sorry I read your post on the way home and had forgotten it. I use a VPN and can never work out why I can get coverage in some areas but not in others. For example I can get coverage in Spain yet not Portugal. If I can get coverage in both, the Portugal VPN is better than the Spanish one. If I try the US and cannot get coverage, I will log out and then try Spain, it amuses me that they cannot figure out I can fly half way round the world ten seconds.

I've never really had issues with streaming content from it.
The actual content is sub par to be fair when you compare it to match day content from BBC Leeds
And I understand that budgets between the two are obviously going to factor in, radio keeds as a full broadcast outfit have resources an in house system won't, but there are things they do which are quite frankly not acceptable from.a broadcast perspective.
Unfilled silences being a major one for me, there are times, particularly when the programme is starting or finishing where you can just hear the ground and nothing else while they assumingly set up for the next bit.
I've said before the commentators are no where near as good, but too be fair that's just the beginning of why its not as good as what the BBC offers

Try emailing Thom Kirwan, I think Jonty has his email address.

LUTV did email again - I answered their questions about not using a vpn and not using roaming data, which wouldn’t make any difference as Indont live in the UK. Since then absolutely nothing.
Jonty would be grateful for Thom’s email - going to email everyone I can.
I am sure everyone says this, but it’s not the £5, just the shoddy customer service that is winding me up.

Elsbels 👍
I normally look at this as my way to donate towards the club, so in the past I have taken connection issues with a pinch of salt.
This has pushed my buttons though. So like a dog with a bone - now going to let go.
