I'll be able to live with it as long as:
a) we get a good fee for him. None of this £60 million talk I've heard in the past. I know he's on the last year of his contract but if a club wants him this summer then they need to pay the right amount for one of the very best players in the world in his prime.
Otherwise we'll keep him for another year and reap the benefits of having such a great player in our side. Also he might even decide he wants to stay at the club and sign another contract with us in summer 2020. Stranger things have happened.
b) we continue to develop and regularly play Cho so that he signs a new contract and stays here long term.
That is all
If Hazard leaves this summer

As unlikely as it may seem you can't rule out the possibility he decided to stay months ago and he's trolling everyone.
The guy just couldn't give a f*** (in a good way) and he trolled like mad before signing for us in the first place. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest to hear the news he's signed a new contract out of nowhere

I like the optimism DA.
Sadly I think he'll go, but at least unlike Cuuntois he won't disrespect the Club, will always have legendary status and will leave with our best wishes. He played a very significant part in many of our recent achievements which no-one can take away from the Club.

Bit of a trailblazer that kid. Was our first real successful loan out, now it forms the entire fabric of our business model
But what happened that he's wound up playing in the Czech Republic in his late 20's? I thought he was slightly overhyped but not to that degree, and last time I checked he was doing well at Fenerbahce. Been plagued by injuries or something?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think he is seen as talented but bad attitude / not fully motivated on football. Spent time playing football in Saudi/UAE (cant remember which) too

He did rescue us that game against Stoke though, so some gratitude to him for that.

Yep probably still one of the most talented of his Chelsea youth generation. He is 30 in October

As I recall Di Santo helped salvage that game too right?

I don't remember Di Santo in that game, but my memory isn't the greatest.
I seem to remember Stoch scoring one, making one and generally looking a threat in his brief time on the pitch.
Youd think after a performance like that a manager would be tempted to give them more game time to see if they could produce regularly. Not the way it works at Chelsea though.

Di Santo headed it down for Belletti to level and think he may have set up Lampard's winner aswell.

I say headered down, headered across goal is a better way to explain it.

Hazard has always stated that hell not screw Chelsea over so if he knows hes going why not sign an extension with a clause that says if real bid for him he can leave if Chelsea get his market value not on the cheap. Everybodys happy that way.

I fail to see he doesn't go really, - minimum criteria we make the CL...possible, not definate.
Then there's the spectre of the transfer ban, he won't want to be surrounded by the inferior players he has around him for another season..(we all know who)
His performances this term will ensure we get very well paid for him
