With reports coming out about a deal for Hazard worth £86M, do United fans still think Pogba should go for more than £90M and some United fans even touted £120M.
What do Chelsea fans think of this? Should Hazard cost more than £86M? Or is that fair and Pogba is over priced?

What is marketability of a player? How much is it worth? Shirt sales profits go to the shirt manufacturer. What else is there? Twatter? Instamongol? Marketing deals are made with the players not the club. Marketability of a player is nonsense to bring into the transfer fee.

Although Madrid did not benefit as much from shirt sales as the manufacturers, you'll be daft to think they did not claim their money back by using Ronaldo during their marketing activities. He, obviously repaid the 80m in two fold, but I am certain Madrid made that money back through marketing easy

It’s not, though. A marketable player can increase, or decrease, the brand and share price of a club, and shirt sales impact sponsors and future negotiations - it’s why Madrid were paid so handsomely for Ronaldo despite his age, and it’s financially had a positive impact on all of the above at Juventus.

Hulk- it SHOULD be utter nonsense as, but it isn’t. It’s quite important factor on the cost of a player..welcome to modern footy.

Shirt sales, read up about that please. Player image rights belong to the player. Increased club value is not marketability that's just the asset on the balance sheet.

This is all perfectly correct, except factually, in the footballing economy.

If you got an offer of anything like what you paid for Pogba you should snap their hands off. It's all about him week after week, while on the pitch he is so inconsistent. IMO your second worst transfer, Sanchez being the very worst. Because of Sanchez as soon as any of your players successfully completes two passes, their agent is on the phone demanding £600k a week.

He does tend to take the limelightt and then not turn up. His consistency and application is atrocious at times, and we tend to make all the excuses under the sun for him as fans, but yet he’s still our most talented outfield player.id probably take the money, I don’t think he wants to be here long term, and if he is we’ll have to massively overpay in his wages..
