I don't go there hardly, so I cannot pass comment on the overall quality of the articles. Neither do I know whether the mod schemes there prevents the antics that riddled BBC 606, and is still here to a lesser extent.

As you said, there are sufficient of the old tribe there to be friends with, if you so choose.

Spurcat, there isnt as much banter about on the boards, it seems a lot more sensible for debate, however threads dont really seem to be as mentally stimulating in the fact that its pretty much a spurs only board so there is no good debates with other fans. Also there is nowhere near as much posters

i remember a time when if a supposedly scottish character on the tv said "isn't" i would leap up and exclaim that it was a charade.

i fear that those days may now be behind us.

i actually think that many scottish accents are particularly melodic.

I'd strongly recommend Not606 if you want somewhere that's much more reasoned and intelligent. Not as much posting or posters as here but for some that might be just what they're after - seems to be much less "banter" and wummery. It's just straightforward, fairly informed debate about Spurs and football in general.

Course, that might not be your thing which is fair enough.

I logged onto not606 before this forum was created & i instanstly disliked it.

The only other forum i used after BBC was 12yards (when JA went down for a couple of weeks), that was okay, but i was pleased when JA found its feet again.

I'll never use not606 whilst JA is still up & running.

Plus, you dont have the or smiley anywhere else.
