He was great and began a revival. His record since has been largely unimpressive although he was OK in Germany.
I distinctly recall Jol signing Rasiak.
I distinctly recall Jol signing Modric.
... and nearly punching Arsene Wenger on the touchline.
Bring back Martin Jol.
He worked wonders for us, and was and still is a fans favorite
The embarrassing way he was sacked during a a European game was shocking
The Good Doctor,
I distinctly recall Jol signing Modric.
======================
Ramos signed Modric.
it was mainly DC that signed Modric...
I liked Jol a lot, at the time was gutted he was sacked.
However looking back at it and how the team is now, I wouldnt have it any other way
eh... Berbat... nah, forget it.
ValenciaY,
it was mainly DC that signed Modric
==========================
DC may have been behind it, but i recall Modric being upset that Ramos was sacked because he was part of the reason he signed for Spurs.
you are probably right mate...
tommy i'm wondering why you're wondering - looking for a replacement for AVB already?

This. I was at the game and the only time in my life that I truly felt disgusted by Spurs. They were cowardly in their actions and ultimately, wrong.
I hated Daniel Levy at the time. Fair play though he rectified his mistake. Eventually.

I don't know when we play Fulham, but if at WHL first, BMJ is gonna get a massive reception from the faithful (I'd expect smaller scale even at Craven Cottage) .
He's the cuddliest manager we've had
RDBD, I'm not sure what 'Arry's gonna make of it, he might chuck us all out
We play Fulham at home last game of the season, I think we play away in December.
Fulham away is November 6
Evening Spurcat
While I've got you, Spurf and a couple of the others were wondering if it was actually you on Not606?
Yid Vicious - No it is not me mate. I have never registered with Not606.
I was under the impression Levy flew out to Croatia to get Modric?
Shame Levy failed to get a partnership with Dinamo
Cheers, Spurcat.
There's one really sad person out there trying to impersonate you
I love Martin Jol
