kurt Zouma

Question to Chelsea fans. Is there any noise coming from your club about his future. Its well documented that we (Everton) would like him back on a permanent transfer. Do you think that you are in a position to sell? Plus what are your personal thoughts on him?

There's no urgent need to sell/loan him this year from our prospective, with Cahill gone there's space in the squad if Lampard likes him.

It's hard to know what the exact figure would be to tempt us into selling, but you can safely assume it'll be one which is on our terms. He's played two consecutive PL seasons, started in a major final for us in the past, we won't be mugged on money with him.

Two seasons farmed out on loan, wonder why Conte and Sarri didn’t fancy him?

Zouma has also been starting games recently for World Champions France so if we decide to sell him it certainly isn't going to be on the cheap. We're not a charity. If any club wants to buy him then they'll pay what we say the the price is or they can shop elsewhere.

And we don't even know if the player is for sale anyway. Lamps may fancy keeping him for a season with Rudi currently injured.

That doesn’t explain why two top class managers farmed him out. His season at Goodison made him into a decent international. Can see him pushing to move.

Conte's back three settled in 16/17 while he was injured and we'd just bought Rudiger on top of it, he would've been 3rd choice for one position (LCB). And the transition from a back three to a four with Sarri left us stacked at CB, Zouma was just last in the pecking order.

Even if Everton weren't interested/priced out, I reckon we'd have a taker for decent money if we actively looked to sell him. CB's with his pace and size combination will always generate interest.

In today's market I would be surprised if he went for anything less than I mentioned earlier in the thread £35-45 million and probably more if I was honest with myself. One think I am sure about, is that Zouma will have a decent future be it with us, Chelsea or somewhere else. I would just rather it was sorted quickly.

Rumours are that Zouma will be looking to hand in a transfer request to get a move to Everton.

Maybe just press talk as it’s quiet, maybe it has legs.

He’s too much of a nice guy to hand in a transfer request. I do think a move to Everton would be best for him.

Maybe just paper talk, it’s very quiet at the minute for the PL.
