Reports suggesting we have a week to tie the deal up if we want him. With Frank hopefully on board in the next few days he's going to have a decision to make pretty quickly. I like kovacic but after a season of watching him I cant work out exactly what he is. Technically very good but a player with a definite identity crisis. For large parts of last season he seemed lost between roles but how much of that was down to the manager ? The fact he produced a season best performance in the final only makes things more confusing. Unless Frank wants to employ him in a pair with kante in the "Drinkwater" role from his Leicester days I say we let him go back to Madrid.

Looks like it's happening. I feel like we've just wasted a huge portion of the Hazard money that could be put to better use next season.
I just don't see him as integral to anything that he'll make a huge difference to us.
Still, as always support anyone who has the Blue shirt on when the cross the white line!
