In 5 months it will be 2020 so thought i'd do a little team of the decade type article. Try and be objective and take into account whatever you feel suits why you pick them, for me for example, players with 1/2 good seasons probably won't be making my team...but I haven't started it yet so lets see.
GK:DDG - was going to say cech because from 2010-15 he was probably one of the best in europe and that CL run was unreal. But Just googled and DDG has been at utd since 2011, so even with those couple bad years to start with, and last year. Think he just edges it.
Right Back - Azpilicueta. Not much debate for me, other than maybe ivanovic and zabaleta?
CB-John tery, best cb of the pl era for me. Didnt stop playing regularly for us till about 16/17 and feel the quality of CBs had really gone downhill until maybe the last year or 2. 2/3 league titles. CL title and other trophies.
CB-Kompany. Through lack of other choices. I would have included VVD probably who I think is a superior player but has not been doing it long enough.
LB-Open to options. Ashley cole left in 2014 so cannot include him, and nobody else comes to mind. Baines? Robertson?
LM-Hazard. Easy choice
CM-Kante.
CM-David silva. second best player of the last decade for me. Edges out lampard who was coming to end of his prime
RM-Mane. Could not think of anyone else really.
ST-Aguero. Easiest choice yet.
ST-Van Persie. Just edges kane

Mane is just a system player tbh. What did he do at the World Cup when he needed to carry his team on the grandest stage?

that's a lot of appearances in one season.
But that's why you can't just judge stats. Bale was phenomenal at the end for spurs and doing it single handedly, much like hazard. Mane is in one of the best attacking teams the PL has had with a massive fast break and two other class players to rotate with up top.
I would have him over bale for longevity anyway.
