Unless we're relegation threatened this season I'd say his job's as safe as houses.

No one in their right mind, even our hierarchy, can expect miracles with this squad minus Hazard. He's obviously been bought in with JM to bring through the best of the youth, in leiu of not being able to sign players.

You can't expect those kids to hit the ground running in the PL straight away and we won't see the fruits of this approach until the following season at the earliest.

All these predictions by rival fans that he'll be on his way by Xmas are quite frankly (if you'll excuse the pun) laughable!

It's a fair point, Lampard obviously has great work ethic and attitude.

However this will all count for nothing with your ruthlessly trigger happy club. The slightest whiff of the team underperforming by your rookie manager and he will be shoved out of the door.

In fairness when you hire a manager as inexperienced as Lampard you have to expect that.

What is laughable is United fans having a pop at at. But what really takes the cake is the one's who attempt to argue Solskjaer's tenure with Molde somehow makes him infinity more prepared for it. Now that's funny
