Hard Work

Youngsters that were coached by Jody & Joe for years know all about work ethic & winning, don't you worry about that.
Ingrained into their minds.

Hard work will be key as long as Lamps is in charge although good things take time especially when you're adopting a new approach which we clearly and rightfully are.

No doubt. Was probably the best player of his generation in terms of acquiring new skills to his game through nothing but hardwork, on natural ability he had no right to be as good as he was.

I said before he joined Derby, if he can manage to transfer that dedication and work ethic to his players as a manager half the battle is won. After that just needs to surround himself with good tactics/match prep people. Jody's one already.

With any luck...the strong work ethic of the youngsters will rub-off on some of the senior players with slack complacent attitudes.
Need every squad member pushing/pulling in the same direction.

It's a fair point, Lampard obviously has great work ethic and attitude.

However this will all count for nothing with your ruthlessly trigger happy club. The slightest whiff of the team underperforming by your rookie manager and he will be shoved out of the door.

I can't see that happening with Frank. Think he'll be given plenty of space to turn things around.
Good times ahead!

We'll have to see. Impossible to disagree with that but we have made efforts recently to give managers more slack - Mourinho, Conte & Sarri all would've gone sooner than they did 10 years ago.

Top 4 and he should be fine. Anything less, you never know.

Unless we're relegation threatened this season I'd say his job's as safe as houses.

No one in their right mind, even our hierarchy, can expect miracles with this squad minus Hazard. He's obviously been bought in with JM to bring through the best of the youth, in leiu of not being able to sign players.

You can't expect those kids to hit the ground running in the PL straight away and we won't see the fruits of this approach until the following season at the earliest.

All these predictions by rival fans that he'll be on his way by Xmas are quite frankly (if you'll excuse the pun) laughable!

Why don't you come back with some original thought provoking thoughts instead of reciting what journalists from The Sun are telling you?

An original thought isn't required when Chelsea hire a new manager. The clock is ticking as the ink dries. Here's hoping you fickle feckers don't turn on fatty and give him a chance.

No manager at Chelsea under Roman has been sacked as quickly as Roy was at Liverpool.

In fairness when you hire a manager as inexperienced as Lampard you have to expect that.

What is laughable is United fans having a pop at at. But what really takes the cake is the one's who attempt to argue Solskjaer's tenure with Molde somehow makes him infinity more prepared for it. Now that's funny

Actually on my count Frank is the 9th different full time manager that's been appointed by Roman since 2003.
