I wouldnt be entirely unhappy about it. Ole appears to be trying to bring in a high pressing quick passing style into the team. If Lukaku move to Inter doesnt go ahead then he can provide the plan B, bully defenders, score from crosses, basically what hes been doing last few years. Ole should tell him to at least lose some weight as his muscle/fat is slowing him down.
We forget how good he was when he was at everton.

Agreed, but it’s a shame we spent so much on a plan B!
He suited the style of football at Everton more, on the counter where he was running at defenders. At United he’s got his back to goal a lot more which is why his poor first touch is such a problem. Even when we counter it’s not that quick! At least last season.
I don’t mind the guy, would love him to stay and become a 25 goal a season striker for us, just not sure it’ll happen.

Lukaku at Everton was visibly slim & well oiled lean-machine which made him incredibly fast - the sight of him that was completely voided at United. You can see how lethal he can be given the circumstances are right. First thing he should do is to shed the extra weight.
Looking back into the past the years - Everton gave him the service he's best at...Passes right to his feet while running into the box with good finishing. At United the task he was assigned to would never suit him.
He's still young - Never too late to adjust though

I think he will get you more goals next season.
Teams sit deep against the top six, but next season when you're a mid table team, the opposition will be defending higher up the pitch giving him space to run into.

It’s just been reported they bid €60m for him a couple of days ago and it was instantly rejected, what the fack were they thinking with that type of fee? Not even Ed would be that thick.
